THIS IS MY 8800TH POST! Also, I'm gonna beat Quirvy to 400 karma
By the way, I was looking through the old forums as I was writing Part 2 of Interguild History, and I realized that when I made this smiley: it was really just my misinterpretation of what
:P
is supposed to mean. Apparently this is the smiley that it's supposed to mean:
My hangman topic has over 1000 replies. I don't know whether I should feel good or bad about this.

BAD.
LOL! Isa really is against those forum games... good thing most of 'em died.
Fun thing is, I was really mad three years ago when Quirvy and Dando trolled the "Count to 5000" thread, because I really wanted it to finish properly. Since then though...things have changed.
I really should start using LaTeX, but that learning curve....
It took me under one evening to learn the basics, learn how to make equations and matrices and do my homework in LaTeX for two subjects. Getting a compiler to work appears to be the most difficult part, but with Linux already being able to compile .tex files through Terminal I didn't have to worry about that.
Alright Silver, I don't want to rain on your already wet parade, but you got to change your mentality on depression; I mean this with no offense whatsoever, it'll benefit you and others around you (either this'll help you somewhat or make you hate my ******* guts, Silver. It's late where I am, so my judgement and tactfulness is awry):
Spoiler:
Don't constantly mention it: I understand how much it sucks to be depressed (been there), but you can't go posting on a board every week essentially asking for self-esteem handouts (even if you say "don't comfort me, I suck" or something, people still will). Even if it is a legitimate case of depression, it'll eventually come off as a plea for attention and it just ends up depressing the people around you (seriously, your previous post bummed me out for a half-day). If you truly feel like it has cornered you, then call a professional. Despite most of our members' combination of awesome advice and swag, we aren't professionals.
An outlet?: Look I know you got hobbies, like drawing and stuff, but try channeling this crap that's bumming you into something. Whether it be a doodle or anything; it's often cathartic. Even try listening to depressing music, for it'll often make you feel better about yourself after hearing the problems stated in the song.
Getting over it: The most mental step of all. Depression usually starts in the head, and you can convince yourself that you aren't depressed with enough mental strength. Just think of all the starving Somalians, or war-torn Middle-Easterners, or tsunami-pwned Japanese, and you'll realize they have reasons to be depressed. Most people who talk about depression have a first-world case of it, as in it's not effected by things that severe, while still troubling them. Just realize what Jell said; life sucks. Your entire existence won't consist of puking rainbows and blinding sunshine, in fact, most of your life won't consist of it. Just realize that and enjoy the life you have.
There's a pretty good chance I will ignore, any depression related posts in the future. Just sayin'

No offense, Kooler, (I used to do it, too. ) But when it's obvious who you are replying to, such as replying to the poster right above you, there is no need to quote them, as it's easy enough to tell who you are talking to. If it's habit and you don't, that's fine; it's just a little pet peeve I have.
HOLY ******* **** LIVIO! THAT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE EPISODE TOO! When you mentioned favorite episodes, this one came to my head immediately, lol. It's an awesome one.

So I've been looking at BMX bikes, and the price for a decent one is about $200-$300. Now, that's 2-3 months pay, and with that I could get about 25%-30% of the computer I want to build. I really want a new computer, though it will take a year of saving before I can do get everything, and that doesn't include a new mouse and keyboard and programs, and any other accessories I haven't thought of. On the other hand, I really want a bike. My old one's front gear changers are broken, the brakes barely work, and it's rusty rusty rusty. If I got a new bike, it'd encourage me to get outside more often, and would benefit me physically and mentally, though a new computer would allow me to do video editing and video gaming, and pretty much anything I want, as well as probably benefit me mentally (Seriously, this computer causes me so much trouble...)
(Thinking about this one. (That does not mean I am going to order it from Amazon.))
My opinion is I feel you need to change your name to "Bmxsu" for that post to have a larger effect, lol. Me, personally would choose the computer for now, cuz where I live, winter is right around the corner, the weather is going downhill fast and it won't be nice again till about early April. I don't know if the weather is like that where you live, but I wouldn't wanna buy something and not have the proper conditions to use it for 4 monthes./2 cents
