Let's say that there is no day where the weather is too bad as to where you couldn't ride at all during the day.  Where I live, the day generally has breaks of nice soft rain no no rain at all, even in storms.  And even if we do go for a week with solid clouds, (Not like that barely ever happens.) it wouldn't necessarily be raining for more that 75% of the daylight on a wet day.

Remember, not every place in California has weather like that.  A smaller percentage has weather like that.  Mostly SoCal along the coast is where that weather is.  The farther north and east you are, the more extreme weather you get.

The impending threat of you guys separating from the rest of North America via an ultra-earthquake makes up for the good weather, though.  

And if that happens, I'll just put paddles on my tires and visit often.

I personally find the bike more appealing. Maybe it's because it reminds me of all the great memories I had while riding bikes as a kid, while making me wish that Arizona wasn't such a scorching desert which prevents me from even wanting to go outside. Seriously, the streets of my neighborhood during the summer are like a ghost town. It's worse than the cold.

Bah, I wanted to say this.

Now for my two cents. I am Dutch. I go everywhere within the city by bike. Rain, snow, storm or worse, I will always travel by bike. Only when my lock is frozen shut, only then will I consider taking the tram or bus. For me a bike is far more important than a PC.

I woke up this morning to find the entire bathroom counter covered in glitter. Glitter in my comb, glitter in my glasses cleaning cloth, even glitter in my ******* floss. Nobody has admitted to doing this.
