Ya, I took part in it. It was a plot about discovering a new city in Neopia featuring some character from a previous plot. The general concencous was, the overall plot was a steaming pile of crap. The story was very loosely knit together with several gaping plot holes, at times it'd seem like they characters randomly got from one place to another. There were basicly no steps: 90% of steps given were to get a certain score on a game. May have been acceptable if it were a new game, but Tnt just took a existing game and replaced a character from the plot in place of the regulaer character, changed the title and called it a new game. The plot was mainly an attempt to plug the NC mall, by offering neocash-only steps and blatantly advertising plot themed merchandise. The prizes seemed overall lack luster. There were a overall of 8 prizes you could get (also a crappy avatar and a slightly ok side theme). This was due to after every "step", they'd award you with some wearable item or piece of furniture which was useless. They took into account when you did the steps so people who beat the plot, but didn't complete everything right away didn't get full glory. I personally beat every step except for the last and still got the 2nd lowest trophy possible. Most consider this the worst plot to date and it shows how Tnt doesn't really give a **** about the public's opinion anymore. Sorry if I scared you off with the long post. Yeah, I was active at Neopets when the Altador plot was released. It was pretty good. What I liked the most about it though was that yet to this day, you're able to beat it, making it more of a novelty plot. I didn't feel the need to rush myself into some action, as I did in the plot released last year (Involving some annoying code decrypting). Also, don't hate on the avatars. They're one of the few reasons to do something at Neopets. | |||||||
