My dad actually recorded all three movies because this one channel was giving this Matrix Trilogy marathon one day.

also, another thing I didn't like about Matrix 2 is that, mostly in the beginning, the main character (Neil? lol but I know he's "Mr. Anderson") and his new girlfriend are way too emotional and "desperate" in regards to each other, to the point that it's ridiculous. But then again, I guess most people act like that too nowadays, lol.

Isa, every day is Viking Apreciation Day.

Happy Indian Genocide Day!

I've seen all three Matrix movies. The first one is awesome, the second is pretty good, the third was meh, but still better than most movies.
It was not like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where the first two are the best books ever written, the third book was pretty decent, but a part of my soul died while reading the last two books.
It is almost as if Douglas Adams passed away some time after the second book, and the last three books were written by crappy fanfic writers.

I watched the Matrix trilogy about 4 months ago. After seeing them I was tempting to try to bend objects with my mind, lol. Anyways the 1st rocks, the 2nd is pretty good and I don't see any reason to watch the 3rd one ever again.

yesterday was black friday and I found Cosco selling a PS3 Slim for $267. And I would've bought it too if I actually had time to play two video game consoles...

You really need to rename Black Friday, it sounds like some kind of tragic war story is the reason behind the name.

lol I went to wikipedia to find out why it was called black friday and the term supposedly originated in Philadelphia because of the heavy traffic of the shopping rush.

and apparently more people participated in black friday on 2007, than in the 2008 presidential election, which had the highest voter turnout in history.

btw, did you hear about the DSi LL (or XL, if it were to be translated for us). It's supposedly a bigger DS with a fatter pen, mostly marketed for old people. Apparently it sold really well in Japan, lol

the biggest reason why you'd want a DSi would probably be so that you could download games from the online shop.

Hopefully getting a P23 for Christmas. I need to get rid of my PS2. The companies have basicly stopped selling PS2 games and I swear that hunk of scrap metal will burst into flames one of these days and it makes funny noises. But in retrospect, instead of buying a $300 PS3, I could by a new $50 PS2.

Yes, but the PS3 has much better games, and if you ever get one, it's HD, too.

And the online features are a big plus.

does the PS3 have backwards compatibility yet? I heard lots of people complaining that the console that supposedly "only does everything" didn't have backwards compatibility but I don't know if they ever added it.

I'd probably go for the XBox 360 before the PS3 anyway. It has more games that I like.

yeah but the for xbox you have to pay for internet and it looks like the PS3 will end up lasting you longer because xbox might be coming out with a new console within the next few years.

Which is fixable. Lol, my younger brother makes money by repairing his friends 360's.

The very first models of the PS3 have BC, but the newer ones don't.  Not like I care, though, because we have all crappy games.

Retro games are where it's at. I can count the actually good games released after 2003 on one hand.

I played a small SSBM tournament while I was at DreamHack - it was fun, and I met some "professionals" (Helios, Ajp - good Swedish players, below average with international standards I think), so I'm going to play with them again tomorrow. Will be fun.

Nope. Dunno why. He'll be going to the Netherlands 18 Dec instead of playing in a Swedish tournament (SVAR9) - understandable, especially seeing as the Swedish tournament was announced yesterday
