Finally vacation.
I have a Smash tournament this weekend. Melee tomorrow, Brawl on Sunday. Should be fun, as I haven't played Brawl in months.

Once I write my persuasive essay, and then do my literature assessment, which always has an essay in it, I will be done for two weeks.

I get out on Tuesday. Last I got out this Thursady. My school increased our schoolyear by four days to improve test scores. Watching movies in all classes except one because the teachers don't have anything else to teach us before break will really boost them

Be sure to tell me which guys you get to meet, I'm very interested. Also, if you meet Armada, you're in luck. Never even seen hem IRL, despite that we're from the same country. Probably will in January though. | | Quirvy |

Hi there people. As you all know, the chatbox is supposedly the center of this website, where all members are able to communicate using it. It sure is fun having conversations up there. But, can we please actually have conversations. I mean, I'm all for saying "Hi" to people every now and then, but if we take out Isa's little advertisement for the best of 2009 board(which was completely ignored anyways, so it might as well not exist), this is what the chatbox would look like:

Guys, it's very simple; next time soccerboy13542 says your username with a question mark after is, just say "No."

Armada and Aniolas were there. They were also at a tournament here back in September, so I have met them before.

The only foreigner I played today was Phlex, a Swiss player. In September I played Makenshi, who is one of the best players from France.
I don't remember all the Dutch players I have played, but I do remember Ivo, a Fox player, and Dave, a Doc Mario player. I also played many friendlies with paprika_killer, who was also my team partner. I don't remember any others.
But tomorrow is Brawl, and Armada and Aniolas entered for that too. Perhaps I'll play them there.

'Yaya' said: I went to go see the movie Avatar today. Pretty freaking awesome stuff. Good movie. I was always skeptical of it because the story doesn't look too great, but apparently the point of it isn't the story but the whole immersion or something. Anyway, I still might go see it. and in IMAX too.
'Isa' said: Apparently, American health care reform is about to go through! Yay Ben Nelson! 'CNN' said: The Senate could vote on the entire bill, a top priority of President Obama, before Christmas. Yes! Unfortunately, after it goes out of the Senate, it'll go to a Conference Committee where they will try to merge the two bills that were passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate. After they are merged, the final bill will go back to both houses for final approval, but it's very rare that a bill would get rejected at that stage. But this conference committee stuff will most likely pick up after Congress goes home for the holidays, which means that the President won't be able to sign it into law until sometime in January, hopefully.
Apparently there's been a lot of talk about getting rid of the Public Option, and I'm not sure why because it looks like they already have to votes to get the bill passed even with the Public Option. But a lot of people think that the public option is the only thing that'll bring about meaningful reform, and they also think that getting rid of it would basically be killing the whole reform. But I don't know anything about that stuff.
Btw, the other day I looked up the Wikipedia article on Health Care Reform Debate in the U.S., just to see how it would be like, and I'm impressed by how they've managed to make it as unbiased as possible. I was reading the section labeled "Rationing of care", and apparently 45% of Americans believed that the "death panel" story was true, even though it was completely ridiculous. But then again, there are also a ton of Americans who believe that Obama's sole agenda is to bring ruin to "this great country".
speaking of Wikipedia, they need money!! You guys should donate.
And apparently there's a ridiculously huge snow storm going on in north-eastern U.S. Meanwhile, I'm here in Arizona (south-western U.S., for those of you who don't know), and all I get to see is fake snow made out of soap at the local mall. | | Harumbai |

They really need to make new new games rather than variations on old ones because they get boring really quickly.

Funny coincident: 45% of all Americans are considered incredibly stupid by 55% of all Americans. | | jellsprout |

MD: Explorers of Sky was different from its precessors because it is a Wiiware game, instead of a DS game. I haven't played any Mysterious Dungeon games besides Red (yet), so I can't really say what the differences are.
