I don't care about the content of the post, just the fact that Jellsprout did not vote Thomas here is the worst play in the game as of yet, as it'd win him the game. I was never afraid of Flash unvoting. I think Thomas ate his mother or something, because they will never agree on anything ever. What I was afraid of was Thomas's role. If Thomas could protect himself more than once as Shos made him to believe, we would have lost the game. Shos is a bastard mod and I was aware of this from the moment I got my role PM. There should have been absolutely no way we could have won this game. And later Shos confirmed his bastardness by not only allowind the Doctor to protect himself, but even being immune to lynches the following. Yes, I did think Thomas being able to protect himself multiple times was broken as all hell. But Shos had already done such a terrible job at balancing the game I didn't doubt for a moment it would be true. The "not-being-able-to-be-investigated" part of my role was why I chose Mew in the first place. I knew that I would probably be one of the first people to be investigated, just like Isa will always be the first to get NK'd. So I needed an excuse why I couldn't get investigated. I didn't know that all Ditto roles were entirely identical either. I just figured that we all had an extra unique power and that mine was investigation immunity. Making all Mafia immune to investigations is just pointless. Once the Cop realizes he failed twice, a bell should ring. So I came up with a role that couldn't be investigated. Mew was the most obvious and the Jack Of All Trades part just flowed from that. It also allowed me to frame Sniper and go for my secondary win condition, but in the end that didn't turn out to be necessary. Spoiler: | |

The fact that I allowed Thomas to be lynch immune on the day after he protects himself is not bastard in any way. as you know, when he gets lynched in such occasion the day ends. so thomas becomes modconfirmed town, but is the only doc in the setup and therefore is supposed to be killed immediately. the fact that you 'thought' I was bastard and therefore didn't shoot the claimed doc - that's terrible!! how broken can it be, really - allowing him to selfprotect and be lynch immune multiple times is enormously broken, no sane mod can do such a thing. The point of mafia not being able to be investigated was not pointless at all. The cop HAD realized he had failed twice and yet did not ring the bell. that was the point, the interesting part in the cop role: that he can confirm townies, but fails in detecting scum. pointless - hardly. the fact that the cop used 3 times his power and nailed 3 different scums - that's amazing. I'd think that I was roleblocked consistently or something in such a case. | |
