Nope, it is not the same, because both ways prove that you are town, and only one way give town a hammer to talk about, because shavey did not know that he did not hammer.

No, the last paragraph indicates that Jorster is town. Following that, nobody can obviously guide him, so that makes me ??? about Sniper's alignment in relationship to Jorster (although I would not be surprised if Snipereborn is scum, but I have Jellsprout higher up for that one at the moment).

Harumbai is ABSOLUTELY town, or he has a great scum game (or at least by Interguild standards).
This is regardless of the alignment of Shavey, but especially true if Shavey is scum.
