Wikipedia, no Google.
There are other search engines out there that are in all honesty just as good as Google. I prefer Google, but Bing isn't really all that different from it.
Nothing can replace Wikipedia, though. There are no other sites that even comes close. Wikipedia knows everything. EVERYTHING.

Not using wikipedia. I might be able to find a site I'm looking for with wikipedia, and I'll find a more reliable site for something with google. As Atvelonis said, wikipedia knows everything, but I'll find something that knows what I'm looking for with google
By only using google, do you mean no other sites? If so, wikipedia, for sure. Google, frankly, isn't as fun.

I would rather not use Wikipedia, I could just use Google to find other information sources.
Also Wikipedia is blocked on my Chromebook so I can't really use it while I'm at school

I wrote this for an assignment in Global. I thought it was pretty funny.
The following is a conversation between the Nile River, in Egypt, and its Chinese colleague, the Huang He River, commonly referred to as the Yellow River.
Nile River: “Sup my dawg? I haven’t seen you in forever!â€
Yellow River: “Hey, how’s it going, bro? You look just the same as you did in 1600 BCE!â€
Nile River: “Haha yeah, thanks, you look great too.â€
Yellow River: “You get any new civilizations yet?â€
Nile River: “Nah, I’m sticking with my Egyptians. They’re pretty cool.â€
Yellow River: “I’m telling you man, you have to cause some catastrophes now and then! Doesn’t it get super boring over there without some death and destruction every so often?â€
Nile River: “Homie you know I don’t like flooding like you do. I like to keep on a nice, easy schedule. Flood every year, at the same time. It helps you find your inner flow!â€
Yellow River: “Dude that’s so repetitive. I will never understand your ways. In my opinion, it’s way cooler to totally screw up human society. Their reactions are priceless: ‘Oh no, the river is flooding! The gods must be angry with the current leaders! REVOLUTION!’. Never gets old.â€
Nile River: “You sound almost as bad as those guys Tigris and Euphrates.â€
Yellow River: “Pshhhht. Amateurs.â€
Nile River: “Just saying, if you’re good to your humans then they like worship you and stuff.â€
Yellow River: “That’s the best part. Both of us treat them real nice, giving them water and fertile land and all that. Thing is, you never take it to the next level like I do: just when they’re beginning to trust me, BAM! Massive flood. Famine. Disease. Death. I love it.â€
Nile River: “Yo, that’s crazy. How do you live with yourself???â€
Yellow River: “Planning more disasters. I’ve got this really good one coming up: I’m aiming for a huge flood and an outcome of around four million deaths.â€
Nile River: “Sheesh. Well, I’ve gotta go to do some gifting. Have fun flooding.â€
Yellow River: “Nice talking to you! Now, I’ve got some disasters to start!â€

If I were a river, as soon as those puny humans started settling on my banks, I would cause massive floods that would wipe out all but a few of them. Next, I would shift my course so that I flowed alongside that huge city, and then flood them. Causing destruction to humans would amuse me greatly.
Now if I were a 150-km asteroid, any planet I spotted intelligent life on would soon find its atmosphere covered in dust and would be very worried about the massive crater right next to its most densely populated area.
And if I were a supermassive black hole, then the universe would be at my mercy.

But it's so much more fun to destroy stuff!
Actually it would be fun to help humanity grow so that you'd have more stuff to destroy.

Cool. If I were a river, I could just get rid of all the commies, then I wouldn't have to deal with all these communists getting in my face all day.

That would be very suspicious. A river that targets communists? There would be random houses missing all throughout the U.S. | | Jorster |

So because I saw darvince in the chatbox when I checked the IG today, I tried my username and password on a whim, and apparently I'm unbanned? Not sure if intentional or what...

Hey guys. What happened to this?
A bunch of random thoughts.
It's sort of sad that over 10 years later, this song is still relevant.

It's sad how people keep on rushing TPP now. OR should take at least a week, like Emerald, but they're all super-impatient now. Sucks.

Hey, this is my 5000th post. Given the current state of the site, it doesn't really feel right to celebrate such a landmark, but I figured I better get it out of the way so I don't waste it on something stupid or avoid posting. I have some great memories of the site, and it really shaped what kind of person I was online, and offline to a lesser extent in my formative years. The site might be more depressing than anything else now, but I'll always have those memories, and interaction with most of the people I created them with, even if it's not on this site
No, this isn't a quitting or suicidal post or anything, sorry if it came off as too contemplative.
There you go
Hooray for me

I was just talking to my aunt who's visiting about this Global project about Spartans I'm doing and she mentioned that our family was from Sparta
I mean I knew I was Greek already but I didn't know what part of Greece until now
I am feeling super legit because Spartans were total badasses

I was rear-ended tonight, and even though it was only in a 20 mph zone holy ******* **** it was terrifying. The conversation that took place afterwords was more painful than the actual collision though; both me and the other driver were completely fine, both of our cars had some scuffs and one small dent each, it was our first accident for both of us, it wasn't really the other driver's fault because it was an industrial parkway that's too dirt cheap to hire a snow plow so it's literally like the only icy road in town, and I could've easily done the same thing had our cars been reversed. We just awkwardly shrugged it off, and drove away. So awkward. And life threatening.
