On Youtube I found a few videos of remote-controlled Lego tanks. They all have working suspension systems, elevating guns, even Lego LEDs. And they all look exactly like the real tank (except smaller)! The person who makes them lives in Poland, and he also built a bunch of trucks and a tank transporter. I think one of the coolest tanks he's done is the Tiger 1. Here's a link to the video:

My dad showed me this cool logic problem that's been going around lately, thought you guys might like to figure it out (try to get it without peeking at the answer).

I was introduced to this kind of questions about 13 years ago; about 7 years ago I evolved one into a generalization which well, at the time, I thought was cute:

I'll introduce it in 2 steps:

1. Two dwarves have two following natural numbers(whole numbers, >0) on their foreheads. each one can see the others' number, but not his own.
Dwarf A says: "I do not know what number I have no my head"
Dwarf B then says: "Me too"
Dwarf A then says: "Oh, now I know what number I have on my head"

what are the numbers?

2.
Dwarf A says: "I do not know what number I have no my head"
Dwarf B then says: "Me too"
Dwarf A then says: "I still don't know what number I have on my head"
Dwarf B then says: "Me too"
Dwarf A then says: "I still don't know what number I have on my head"
Dwarf B then says: "Me too"
...
say, repeat the above, 1123 times; AND FINALLY,
Dwarf A then says "Oh, now I finally know!"

What are the numbers?

I think I know number 1, is it dwarf B having 2, and dwarf A having 3?

Can you feel your heart burning?
Can you feel the struggle within?
The fear within me is beyond anything your soul can make, you cannot kill me in a way that matters

3370, give or take a few. I'm not in the mood to work it out exactly.

I also know another variation on that riddle.

There is an island with 100 people with blue eyes, 100 people with brown eyes and one island guru with green eyes. Nobody knows what colour their own eyes are, nobody knows how many eyes there are of each colour and nobody is allowed to talk about eyecolours.
Every night, people may go to the guru and say what colour their eyes are. If they are correct they get to leave, if they are incorrect they die. Obviously they don't want that, so they will only say it when they are absolutely certain what colour their eyes are.
After many, many nights of nothing happening, the guru steps up and says "I see brown eyes."

Who will leave and on what night?

Another related problem I've heard is this: a professor announces he will be giving a pop quiz sometime from Monday to Friday, and that the students will not know which day it is before it happens
A student reasons it cannot be on Friday, since, if there has been no quiz by Thursday, it will not be a surprise that the quiz is on Friday. Then the quiz must be on some day from Monday to Thursday, and it can't be on Thursday because the student would know by Wednesday night. Keep going, and the student proves that the quiz can't possibly happen at all.

So why does the induction fail here but work on the blue eyes problem?

Because then he won't see it coming when it does happen

Speedway stories EP. 2
Sorta doubt anyone remembers the first one but either way
I grabbed a bunch of coins off my dresser, which I believe was 3 quarters and a dime. I grabbed a bit from my dads dresser WITH PERMISSION and went to speedway.
I put the money on the counter, and the worker informs me that he needed a different quarter, which frankly I did not bring. All I had was an extra nickel and dime.
The quarter was actually a mexican coin. also ten cents discount FTW

We strive to be different
Very, very different.
In all seriousness, my guess is we didn't want to use Englands currency, do to the war
And we didn't want to use a different nations currency, cause that wouldn't be independent enough
Just a guess, no actual confirmation, though
However, METRIC SYSTEM

You mean due, not do. Also, there were two wars between the US and the UK.
