Yeah, I did like the increase activity in August. Even though school has started again, I see no reason for more inactivity. Seriously, it only takes about 3 minutes to come on here, read the new posts, and write a short reply. Also, the account creation system has still not been fixed. Yesterday I attempted to make a new account, just to test it, and it didn't work. And I might as well not tell Livio to fix it in this post because he will never read this.

But I think that the chatstorm will cause chatting to be displaced from tokyo and into more northern regions of japan for the next week or so, before it lets up again, and then tokyo and yokohama will return to previous chattiness.

Unfortunately there's a good chance that Livio forgot about it and hasn't done anything yet.

Just remind him daily. Daily reminders worked for my family to get a scale after 40 dinners in a row where I pestered them to get one.

I think it's a something that we can say, that even after we've all grown up, have jobs, universities, colleges, schools, even wives etc, we all keep coming back here, even if it is just to rant about inactivity.

It's like this place is something that sits in your heart and can never die, no matter how inactive it is..

Also, we need more staff members. All of the staff are extremely inactive and never do anything. So, I nominate atvelonis to become a member of the Interguild staff.

Since none of the staff have responded with any opinions here, I will bring it up in the staff forum, where they still probably won't respond but at least can't have the excuse of not seeing it. And then when they don't respond after a week, promotion to staff will happen.

I think you're qa better candidate than Soccer and Kro because you come on the forums more than they do. I think that the point of having another staff member is so that not all of them are extremely inactive. We need staff who actually come on and do staff stuff!

i impulsively log on like 50 times a day. granted, there isn't much to post about since hatpc doesn't work and there is little to no content right now but it's a work in progress.

For some of our younger members, logging on here every day is literally a habit of a lifetime.

It blows my mind that this community is 12 years old and has been on its "last legs" for over a year
