First order of business will be to scrap the chat ban feature; it's only used for trolling, anyway. Obnoxious names will not be tolerated, long URLs will no longer stretch the chat box and the chat box will now automatically refresh. The phrase "This chat box belongs to Quirvy" shall never be repeated ever again on this site.

I would have elminated all the colors and/or BBcode and/or HTML options from the names/post.

And you would have successfully removed one of the cool, and I think defining, features of the Interguild.  That kind of stuff helps keep this small community close.

sorry, all the blinding colors creep me out, lol. remember on the old site where every one could have his own background color to a post? there was an option to disable those stuff..here we don't have one

While I definitely agree that the stuff on the old site was atrocious looking, the chatbox is for the most part tolerable. Generally if someone uses a color that is really obnoxious or just not good in the chatbox (ie: too dark), then we complain until they change it.

I've been trying to get Flashmarsh to choose a lighter colored chatbox color, because his is way too dark, and as a result hard to read (or at least on my computer), but I've had no luck so far because he actually doesn't chat in the chatbox that much

I personally don't find it very mature that you post two similar pictures on the "Let's give Shos a new avatar" thread (that doesn't get a lot of feedback) and then create a poll with only your images. Unless Shos said somewhere that he likes yours a lot more than the rest of the other image submissions, you could've at least included some of our possible new avatars. And I'm not saying that they are bad images, because they're actually pretty cool.

i think this round was meant more as a joke...

just judging by the fact that they are high heels.
