Shavey because of his constantly changing reasons, constant bandwagoning, and the fact that his reasons are poor and seem to always jump to him denying what he gets accused of.

And I suspect you, Thomas, because in our "argument" you seemed to be jumping around my accusations all the time, focusing mainly on minor things in an attempt to make my accusations look bad. Also, of course, at the fact that you played somewhat similarly to Bmwsu - you said you had suspicions on Soccerboy but refused to post them so you could make a "case" on it or something like that. Bmwsu said he had a theory/suspicions but refused to share it, this got him lynched (or something like that - I can't remember all the details).

Speaking of that, Thomas, will you ever share those suspicions on Soccerboy?

Agreed everyone here will tell you they are town if you ask, why stand out by telling people you're not? To be safe as mafia or town it is best not to act suspicious by doing what no one expects. I understand that you are saying that since everyone plays as town claiming either is irrelevant since you can't be sure, but you are putting yourself into unnecessary danger by claiming mafia so if you are town then I wouldn't claim anything other than town or claim nothing unless you want to be lynched and let your side down.

Actually, I think if you're a townie you say "I'm a townie! Don't kill me, I don't like dying!" I don't see why a twnie wouldn't claim town, short of being prohibited from doing so because of their role pm. I don't know if there are any standard roles like that, but mods do make custom roles.
Still, I was actually targeting shos with the comment. You could've just not said anything and let him deal with it. I guess you just really enjoy jumping on grenades...

Yeah, claiming townie when you're a townie is fine because you have nothing to lose (unless you make like an unintentional scum-sounding statement). But even if you say "I'm mafia" or "I'm a townie" or "I can't (blank) because I'm mafia/town", I don't see how a 2-3 statement can clear you of your innocence or make you guilty. The only thing you can really get out of analyzing that statement is the person saying that is unintelligent for thinking that will work. The larger scale actions matter much more than a generic statement of which side you're supposedly on.

I'm not sure if this is you taking a stab at me, but the reason I asked in the first place was to see what happens. Just because I "probably" won't get anything from it doesn't mean I definitely won't. Which is apparent if you consider Jazz's response to it. Sometimes, clumsily shaking the tree can have effects. Even if it doesn't, who cares? We didn't lose anything.

anyway, till I go, you guys have to understand that nobody is going to say he's not town; everyone 'assumes' himself as town, whether he's town or he's mafia. and 'claiming' is saying what your role is, which should never be done if you are not forced to.

We can either leave Jazz alive because he did something that mafia would apparently never do, or we can lynch him and if he's not scum then at the least an anti-town player has been killed. I prefer the latter:

I'm not disagreeing. But see this article , specifically the Optional Roles -> Special Roles section.
Basically, it says lynching a jester can result in the mafia getting two NK's in some variants. Should we worry about this?
