the scumslip I saw by soccerboy is not lethal, but it means I will overuse IGMEOY(i got my eyes on you, for those who don' know) on him. he used 'by now mafia try...' . to me, this looks like a scumslip, because it is like casually talking about yourself. if I said such a thing, it would probably be something like 'by now, the mafia probably tried..'.

A scumslip per definition means that someone accidentally says something that reveals him instantly as scum (for example, saying that you believe that the ones voting you to L-1 in LyLo is town). This is more of a scumtell (if it even were one) in this case - a tell is something that you find scummy (or towny if it is a towntell), not overly convincing on it's own but can be used in a wider case.

Furthermore, it's incredibly disturbing that you find confidence to be a scumtell. Just because YOU don't think that mafia would have done X or Y at one point doesn't make it a scumtell for someone else to believe so and state it confidently like that.

You are trying to find a way to cast suspicion upon soccerboy for something that's absolutely null. No me gusta.

do you really think that, as a townie, you would talk about the mafia in present simple, without any 'chance factor' inserted to the sentence?

Good catch shos. Shavey Dave posted before jell voted and in his next post he votes only after 2 others voted.

Unvote, Vote: Shavey Dave

Is this why your voting me? Because I voted after two votes? If someone doesn't do that then there won't be a lynch. Also I had a thought. Jazz said we could get Livio to minus 100 karma him if he's mafia. He didn't mention independant did he? Back to me. Could you give me some deeper scum reads? Otherwise I'm not sure on what exactly your voting me on. Also, Thomas someone had to vote me after two votes didn't they?

It's bandwagoning. The only reason you voted Silvler was because 2 other people did.

Orly? I voted Silver because she was most suspicious. I voted her when I logged in and I found two other people had voted her. Besides you seem very keen on voting just because I voted after two others. Maybe whats happening is that your mafia and I'm town. You know I'm not mafia so you vote me. Just sayin' FoS: Thomas

You made a post before the 2 others voted but you only voted afterwards because you knew you could get a mislynch. You did not know this until after the 2 votes were made which is why you did not vote in the post made before the votes.

This defence is very flawed. You completely contradict yourself, Thomas tells you that you only voted as Silver already had two votes, you then say that you did it because she was most suspicious. This is understandable. But you then go and say "I voted her when I logged in and found two other people had voted her" completely agreeing with what Thomas said. You logged in, saw that Silver had two votes and voted her because of that.

Shavey, Thomas is voting you because you are acting scummy, not because he is mafia and your town. Also Thomas is not keen to vote you just because you voted after two people, it's because of your tendency to bandwagon, like as long as your not alone in your descision, you're fine to lynch anyone.
Vote: Shavey

Lol you didn't deny that the accusation was OMGUS. But OMGUS doesn't need to be a vote. You attacked me because I attacked you. That's what it comes down to.

Jeez I ment when I logged in I saw two people had voted her but that wasn't my reason to vote her. I ment I saw two votes but I didn't think it mattered.

Okay then you are admitting that you voted for Silver because you "saw two votes" and you don't mention anything about actually having suspicious against Silver so you are bandwagoning. That's what scum do.

Is Jazz playing better now? I guess he's learned from his mistakes? I'm not sure what that was all about, though. I'm glad that we pressured him, because if we didn't, it'd say to the scum that playing especially poorly (pretending to be the "village idiot") could be a viable strategy. He's still on notice, though, and part of me wonders if that's exactly what he was attempting to do. That wagon did gain steam awfully quickly, but at the same time, his play was awfully bad. Jazz, what possessed you to play the way you did early on? What did you hope to gain from it?

Silver's post (page 8) where she criticizes Jazz for his bad play and then goes on to place an FoS on somebody random definitely reminds me of her mafia-aligned play from the first three games. I'm not sure how to take the reaction. I can't remember her ever really being pressured as scum. The only time she was lynched, she was town. She has this bad habit of FoSing her partners as scum...

So... who's the scum? Uh, tough call, lol. I'm still suspicious of everyone.

I don't know that Shavey's possible band wagoning tells us much. It may well be fairly accidental bandwagoning as I have done in the past and whether he is mafia or not he is now trying to pretend that he did the vote for it's own merits.

Also his Fos in self defence could just be that he was annoyed with Thomas for telling Shavey what Shaveys thoughts were. That would sure annoy me and I probably would be a bit suspicious of a player bossing you and your thoughts around.

After the argument I actually feel negative towards Thomas as he is playing very agressively and posting very often which is actually quite a good disguise for the mafia as thats what you don't really expect.

@Harumbai
So you think that if I'm scum then I would be doing what "mafia would never do" so WIFOM but then won't that be a null tell? That's not a good reason to believe someone is scum because I have played with pro-town players who play just like this. Is this a serious attack or you want a reaction?
