Screw the EPA and animal rights groups. I saw one of their posters then bought a pork pie to spite them.

lol, the way we get food is really bad, but nobody wants to know that so they don't feel guilty.

I say you lock livio in a big box and he'll have to mine his way through

Hey Livio, how do you set up Dynamic Map? Do you need your own Domain to use it?

Nope, you access dynmap straight from your minecraft server. It does take a while to render all of the maps for the first time though. Do you need help with some specific part of it?

Also, rest in peace buddy.

And we should build some kind of wall around that town, so that monsters won't cause another mess in there and we won't have another incident like that.

I built a marketplace in the plain near spawn. You can buy one of the 16 stores for 5 iron each.

I second this. We can also start building the Great Wall of the Interguild. I'm currently way, way, way out there building pyramids for the comp, but I'll come back someday, lol.

why would the interguild want a wall? O_o I have one already; in fact, I have 4 in my room, and they are great

No, you're not allowed to warp out of Survival, because that's technically cheating. The only reason it works for you, Bmw, is because your an OP and permissions don't apply to you.

The only solution would be to find your way back to Spawn. I recommend using the map to make sure you're going in the right direction: http://72.29.88.50:8123/ You could even wait until someone's online and see if they'd be adventurous enough to find you wherever you are and escort you back.

Or you could just kill yourself (use the /kill command), but not only would you lose everything you're carrying, but it'd also be the boring way out.

lolololol.
I had no idea. =P

Anyway, on the topic of a community project, I think it'd be best to put it off until the comp is over, or people have at least finished their entries.
That also begs the question as to what projects?

I would very much so enjoy a SNER, or Suvival Never Ending Road.
I also like the idea of a wall, so maybe a wall with the NER on top of it?
I think we also need a spawn, courtesy of the creative minds at this site.  Maybe we should of had a comp for designs for that?
What about a little town with a theme?  I think this is something that should be done down the road, not now, though.

This also begs the question as to who will design whatever we build.  I mean, we can't just let everyone build whatever they want, as that'd look bad, IMO.  I think the best idea would be to let the winner, or top winners, of this comp design whatever we do.  Thoughts?
I also think we need at least some sort of in-game reward for the comp.  Custom titles again, anyone?

I like the idea of rewarding comp winners with the privilege to design and build some of the more important structures on the server, such as an SNER or a Great Wall of Interguild. Actually, I imagine the great wall could be something that everyone could contribute to, as in everyone can design a section of the wall, almost like a guild cave.

I at least want roads between the houses of everyone. I built a road from my home to close to the server spawn tower/Sniper's house, and if people want to continue that one, please do so.

(hasn't checked the server in two days)

Cities are rad.

So, how did you move the old world to the new host? What files exactly did you need? I just copied the level.dat and isn't working.

You need the whole world folder. The level.dat is just biomes and the world seed

While me and Kooler were on the survival world, there was a really bad lightning storm. We ended up finding a charged creeper and a zombie pigman.

Spoiler:

I also happened to get hit by lightning twice.
