Jorster I went on that server and talked to the owner. He said you only built about 10% of the spawn. However he also did say you helped build around 3-4 spawns.

Jorster, you shouldn't need WE to make good designs; I managed to design 6 buildings without even playing minecraft (only one of those has actually been built, though ) so I don't see how it's so impossible for you to design/come-up-with-the-concept-for something and then build it. It's not that hard.

I think Jorster is talking about the actual building of the buildings, not the planning of them.

Perhaps you just need to put in the effort? I've never really thought of building stuff in minecraft as being hard as much as boring. And that's pretty much just the large scale stuff.

Also, Bmwsu when are you going to post our contest?

As soon as you PM me the pictures that you want to be shown.

Since the general consensus is that Jorster should not get WorldEdit powers, I will not give them to him for now.  While I do think he is worthy, I have to agree that it seems like he has not contributed to the server enough.  If you want to have power on something, then you need to show that you are dedicated enough to get it.  Sure, you have 500 posts, but we need to see that you are willing to take the time to put thought into a building and hand-place every block with care before you can move onto the bigger stuff.
When we see some more, good stuff from you that's level-worthy, then you'll be reconsidered. =)

(And in completely unrelated news, this just so happens to be my 2000th post.)

Hand-place every block with care? Are you insane? He's probably going to stop caring about the individual block after only the 100th block placed.

It's called a hyperbole.  If he actually did care about every block on a personal scale, and deliberately thought about each block out of thousands for more than a second, I'd be more concerned about his mental health than whether or not we should give him WorldEdit powers.

Epic comeback is epic, But i'm pretty sure there's a condition for that, OCD maybe?

Kooler! @Jorster I'm guessing your thinking of the boring tasks like roofs, large area's/big shapes and all of that. That's why I love WE. Horrible task done so quickly

Yeah, it either has an extremely high ping or it simply can't connect.

WorldEdit powers should be considered a reward, not a requirement.

Started the server. For some reason it was simply offline.

Bmw and I happened to be online at the same time last night and we couldn't restart the server. It looked like Craftbukkit updated to a new version or something and we got this error when trying to boot up:
Code:
06.06 00:36:08 [Multicraft] Minecraft stopped
06.06 00:36:08 [Multicraft] Failed to adapt server configuration, please check the permissions of the files in "/home/minecraft/multicraft/servers/server2777"
06.06 00:36:07 [Multicraft] Loaded config for "Mod: Craftbukkit Official 1.2.5 R3.0"
06.06 00:36:07 [Multicraft] Starting Minecraft!
06.06 00:36:07 [Multicraft] Loading Minecraft instance properties
06.06 00:36:07 [Multicraft] Received start command

We couldn't figure it out, so we submitted a support ticket. They answered this morning and said that the issue was already fix. Then I log on and see that the server is back up. Good work, Isa.

So why is everyone talking about installing LogBlock? Doesn't Gaurdian already log that sort of stuff? That's why we got the SQL database in the first place. If there are griefers on the server, then someone needs to look into the logs. I think Guardian also lets you use sponges to explore the logs in-game.

Okay, I tried to go on the server to see if I could figure out who's griefing, but my connection's too slow and I have to leave now. But when I got to survival, it was night time and I was surrounded by monsters. In the ensuing battle I think I killed someone's dog or something. It died after only one hit, and I didn't even know you could have dogs in Minecraft. After it despawned, I noticed a nearby structure that looked like a dog-house and it was labeled "Buddy's House"...
