The old system worked much better. It took up less space, materials and time. It also has more options.

...

Well, it was simpler than Essentials. At least I can easily remember what to do.

What seems to have happened to CHEST PROTECTION?

'Livio' said:
One important note for survival players: None of your chest protections have been imported (all items have been imported, however). Check the last spoiler in the header to see instructions for how to protect your chests now. Don't freak out too much about it, though, because the server's keeping logs about who's taking what from which chests, so we can easily revert any such griefs and ban those who are responsible.

I was wondering why there was hardly any outcry about this. I guess a lot of you missed my post. Yeah, I knew switching to Essentials was a risky decision on our part, but since we already had Essentials installed, adding another chest protection plugin would've been redundant, and that means having another plugin to monitor for updates and glitches.

And judging from some of the chests I've seen on survival last time I went on, it looks like not many people have adapted to the new system. Maybe we should revert back to the old plugin.

This made me realize that I don't have access to doing stuff in the survival world. It's been more than a year, and somehow I've forgotten to ask for perms.

Sooooooo, can I have perms for survival also?

I think we should have a MineCraft day, where we all go on the server at a specific time & day of the week.

One problem with that, many of us are in completely different timezones.

Yeah, but not everyone in the US is still in the same timezone. For me right now it's about 8:00, and in Arizona it's about 6:00.

All of the US timezones are similar though. It's easy to plan a time that would be fine for each one of them.

But nobody here lives in Hawaii so it's k.

what's your minecraft username again?

The current approach seems to be going smoothly for now, especially considering how many barriers to entry we already have for the survival world to begin with, and the fact that any thefts will result in a perma ban. Although it does stink that you have attach signs to everything now (everything except the chests that you don't care about, like the ones storing all of your dirt), so maybe we'll revert to the old system when we find the time to do it.

Mutts79 is derived from 3 things. The mutts part is from a comic strip called, "Mutts." I've always found it entertaining and funny. The 7 is from krotomo's address, which is 77, and the 9 is from my address, which is 99, I put them together and added it onto the mutts.

Atvelonis is from 3 names. My first name is A*****, which obviously starts with an A, and the T comes from my middle name. And I think you're able to figure out where the rest comes from.

The connection is that they're both names me and kro came up with.
