To ensure that people do not take these posts too seriously, I created a new category for "Fake News". However, it's kind of a misnomer because some of these posts are true, such as Livio Reaches 6,000 Posts. We actually had quite a hard time figuring out a good name for this category. On Tuesday, I decided to judge the One-Trap Comp, which by then had already been over for a week. However, throughout the day, I procrastinated from judging by working on a ton of other stuff: putting up the Fake News category, adding a new Hidden feature (pun intended), uploading preview images for some new videos in the Archive, trying to find a better shade of blue for some random thing in the new layout, and probably some other stuff that I can't remember. Anyway, I didn't judge the One-Trap Comp until late that night. The whole thing is really ironic/convenient because Tuesday was apparently Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday, which is the last day before the beginning of Lent (religious season for Catholics), and I supposedly gave up procrastination for Lent. The official One-Trap comp results weren't released until today. Also on Tuesday, a mysterious new member appeared. He calls himself Captain Obvious, and he is incredibly skilled in pointing out the obvious. On Thursday and Friday, I began working on Aeon again. I was in the middle of reorganizing the collision detection system when I last worked on it. So far, I've fixed the glitch where if you let go of the crawl button under a piece of terrain, your character would start freaking out, and if you jumped at the right moment, you could jump through terrain. I'm still not done reforming the collision detections, but I can tell you that it is already much more organized, efficient, and less prone to glitching than the old system. I've also finally implemented the optimized Debug settings, as found by the last Demo, except that I have increased the running speed and decreased the falling speed by a bit. As for the new layout, I haven't made much progress on that (except for that random color improvement that I did while procrastinating away from comp-judging on Tuesday). I may work on it tomorrow, if I don't find myself working on Aeon first. I remember I said yesterday that I wanted to see if I could get this collision detection reform done and out of the way by the end of the weekend so that I could finally get to adding new things to Aeon, like other tiles.
