Omg, how embarrassing. "Make and create levels", what redundant. Shoulda said "Make and rate levels".

No images, just text. What kind of a banner is that? At least you can have the background as some good HatPC cave or something, rather than just plain white text. And you don't have to list out all the games, just write "HatPC, N, FR2, SMF and more", isn't that enough? Why waste your time and write "HatPC, N, FR2, SMF, ........."? And that font is far too difficult to read.

I think you could have done much better. A four from me is enough, if I were stricter I would probably give a 3.

A banner like this would not make me want to join a website community.

First of all, the font at the bottom is a little bit too small, making it a bit hard to read. Then there's also the fact that the beginning, as you have pointed out, is a bit redundant.

Also, this is not very flashy; it is plain and boring.

I give it a 4/10 overall, and a 0.4/5 for difficulty rating, because it didn't look very hard to make.

THE SUBTITLE "COME JOIN THE FUN AT LEVELOMATIC.ORG" WAS NOT PROPERLY CAPITALIZED AND, AS SUCH, REFLECTS THE ENTIRE IMAGE AS IMPROPER.

AS FOR THE DIFFICULTY, KARMABOT STATES THAT IT WAS EASY TO TAKE ITS ROBOTIC EYES OFF OF THIS.
