(Console. Not video or computer. Console is stuff like the DS and the GBA. SNES. You know.)

Pokemon Diamond - should go without explaining.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 - how do you play this?
Disgaea - TOO HARD
FF Ring of Fates - I don't get the plot.

My friend has an SNES. His older bro used to play it as a kid, but my friend inherited from his bro.

Super Maro Galaxy 1 is pretty disppointing. You beat 120 levels, thinking you're gonna get something REALLY awesome, like fast walkspeed or higher jumps, but no, you get to play as luigi and you have to play everything again. >_<

I also have a NES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, PSX and XBox. For handhelds I have also have a Gameboy Classic, a Gameboy Pocket, two Gameboy Colors, 2 GBA, a GBA SP, a DS Lite and 2 Visionmasters. I also hope to find a cheap PS2 and possibly a PSP next year.

Dissapointing games?
-Brawl is the first to spring to mind. Especially after all the hype. I even tried tournaments, hoping that playing against actually good players would be less dull than singleplayer or playing against my friends. During my first match, I nearly fell asleep. I am not exaggerating this. It were two missile spam games of 6 minutes each that were so incredibly dull I very nearly fell asleep. I still won that match, but by that time I was so bored I just wanted to leave, so I sandbagged the next two matches to get eliminated.
-Mario Galaxy is also high on my list. With all the "Best Game Evar!" comments and 100/100 reviews floating around the internet, I did not expect a hyper-linear, subpar Mario 64.
-Halo and especially Halo 2 were also pretty disappointing. I didn't get a chance to play them till last year, but with Halo and Halo 2 bringing the XBox up to popularity by themselves I expected two truelly epic games. All I got was Perfect Dark with fewer guns, nigh invincibility rechargeable shields and Samus as main character.
-Sonic Heroes was also a huge disappointment. I already knew it wouldn't be as good as Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, but Sonic Heroes was often referred to as the last good Sonic game (at least until Unleashed got released). But the game is so terrible, it is nigh unplayable. This game makes me fear playing Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic '06.

GuyGuy you said Half life 2 was good! Anyway, Sonic Unleashed was a total dissapointement. I got it, played it a bit that day and never touched it again. It was rubbish

Spoiler:

I do not agree with your halo remark!  Halo and Halo 2 were the best games of their era when they came out and had graphics better than anything else at that time!
The ign review says:
Halo 2, this year's most anticipated title -- along with Valve's Half-Life 2 and Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas -- is a whopper of a game. It doesn't matter which way you cut, dissect or analyze it, Halo 2 comes up aces in every way. It's a noble achievement in storytelling, gameplay balance, and multiplayer design. And it's easily the best console-based, online game on Earth. Like so many people have said thus far: In 2004, Halo 2 will own you.

While it's been three years since Halo stormed gamers' Xboxes, Bungie has quietly toiled away at creating a natural evolution to its award-winning first-person shooter, and it has succeeded wildly. It's crazy to say that every bit of hype Halo 2 receives is deserved, but once you play it, you'll be pressed to agree. All of the improvements mightily outweigh the minor complaints from the surprising, cliff-hanger story in the single-player campaign to the unendingly blissful carnage of the online game.

The Story Deepens
The most coveted aspect of Halo 2 in Bungie's three years of development has been the storyline, which sadly, I will not reveal now. I don't want to ruin it. What I can say is this: Halo was a game about exploring a single ring, and in that it's like the movie Alien. Halo 2 is like Aliens. The first Alien movie was about learning the parameters of a single creature. The second movie was an onslaught of aliens, multiple plots and sub-plots, and conspiracies. It was bigger in scope and more encompassing in its ambition than the first. Halo 2 is a massive expansion of the original story in every aspect. The story is more complex, and to a much greater extent than its predecessor it's more vast, more mysterious, and ultimately, a much meatier one. Just like Aliens, it is bigger in scope and more encompassing in ambition than its predecessor.

Dozens upon dozens of instances convey its larger scope. It takes place in more locations than the first game did. Many cutscenes are well directed and worth watching again. Only a few areas of the story require criticizing, one of which is the ending. It's a cliff-hanger. So, depending on your level of enthusiasm, you'll either like it or hate it. Either way, Halo 2 is like Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, it's a middle chapter in the series.

So, with nearly four times the amount of discourse from the first game and almost 20,000 lines of dialog, Bungie's story is deeply woven into every aspect of Halo 2, from the heart-stopping first hour to the climactic (and curious) ending. During the course of its 15 levels and just like the first game, you'll hear dozens of funny quips and memorable lines delivered by human soldiers that reverberate throughout its 10-15 hours of gameplay (yeah, that's what I said, 10-15 hours). You'll find that each soldier has something worthwhile to say even in the middle of the most distracting action scenes, surprising you when you least expect it.

What's best about the storyline? Bungie has proven to be an excellent yarn spinner. Unlike Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, which tried to do everything and then ended up doing too much for its own good, Halo 2 tells a story with balanced restraint and minimalist tendencies. It tells a good story, without getting in your way. Not once did I feel I waited too long for the shooting to start again.

Do you want me to say more?

You can't spell ignorant without IGN, all reviewers are fanboys, etc.

I didn't say Halo and Halo 2 were bad games. They were pretty good. But they don't nearly deserve all the praise they've gotten. I ask you, have you played Perfect Dark? Goldeneye? Doom? Any shooter released before the sixth generation (XBox/GC/PS2)? Halo by itself is a very solid game. But when you compare it to its precessors, you will notice Halo has made hardly any progress at all.
And again, I never said Halo 1 and 2 were bad games. This thread isn't called "The worst console games you've ever played" (a title which would probably go to Yoshi's Story), it is "The most disappointing console games you've ever played". And with the gigantic fanbase the Halo games have, I expected a bit more.

I'm becoming suspicious that you are one of my friends incognito. But anyway, I said Half Life 2 was good, and Half Life 2 Episode 2 was good but not Episode 1.

NEVER!!  I found it nice, because of how it's different from the other Half-Life 2 games.  It felt shorter than HL2 Ep. 2, though.

The only dissapointing part was halo 2's ending in my opinion.

Lol guys. Watch out for SMG and Brawl fanboys. I know that some fanboys create accounts on websites to verbally abuse people who don't like Brawl.

No, only the new ones. Games have been going downhill ever since they stepped away from ASCII graphics.
And again, I never said the games were bad. I just said they disappointed me. They didn't live up to the hype. They are good games, just not as good as the fanboys made me believe.

And let the Brawl fanboys come. I am ready.

I dunno, I rarely buy new games these days, I'm content with the few I own. (Beatles Rock Band, Burnout Paradise, Uncharted 1 and 2, Infamous and Lego Star Wars). I think those are pretty much the best games of each genre PS3 wise so I am ok with them.

COMING SOON: A giant meteor. Please.
