You have until 21 August to judge

At that date I will combine all the rankings into one average. If nobody has judged by then, I will judge this round myself and use those results.

Post your rankings for this round in this topic.

oh look at that. I made an entry into this competition that apparently never got submitted.

I intend on getting Livio to add that in, since it was made before the deadline passed, intended to be in that comp.

With that in mind this should also get judged in with the rest:

1) Tutorial Two - CSD
2) Level Seven - Krotomo
3) Level Eight - Quirvy
4) Level Eleven - GF4
5) Level Six – Soccerboy
6) Level Thirteen – Yaya
7) Tutorial One – Yuggy
8) Tutorial One - Dekudude
9) Tutorial Six – Shos

This was a bit tricky to judge because the entrants approached the competition in different ways. Some went with TNT's style to make the gem fit the feel of the cave, and others went for a more conventional (to us) Interguild style. The competition doesn't explicitly state that you had to make it TNT-style, so I judged the caves based on what the creators were trying to do, and how well they pulled it off.

CSD's gem was simple, but was definitely the most elegant, especially in keeping with the level. Krotomo's was good and was incorporated well into the level, same with GF4's. Quirvy's was a bit trickier than it looked, and made for a pretty good puzzle.

My opinion on Soccerboy's cave was influenced by the fact that I hate that water/terrain glitch and was hunting for a different solution, but that aside it was still a pretty good gem. Yaya's was well-designed, but elaborate in a way that wasn't particularly fun to figure out. Yuggy's wasn't bad, but felt a bit contrived and obvious. Dekudude went for a TNT-style gem, but that considered it was still pretty bland. Shos' gem was just too hard; I gave up trying to reach the air in time and didn't feel compelled to try it with the water/terrain glitch.

My shosjudging agrees with CSD for first place. That was brilliant by CSD.

I remember Dekudude's and Yuggy's gems, and I can agree with them being in the bottom, Dekudude over Yuggy. I remember shos as well, but as I haven't played it (it's a very forced gem, IMO, so I need to play it to experience it) so I can't comment on that.

Wow, lots of disagreements by judges in this one. Jazz has soccerboy at number 8, Jell at number 2. Jell and Dando have Yuggy at 8 and 7, jazz has him at 2nd, and Jazz has yaya in last, but jell has him in 4th.

Final placements that I came to:
1. CSD 27
2. Kroto 22
3. Quirvy 17
4. GF4 16
5. Soccer 15
6. Yuggy 13
7. Yaya 11
8. Deku 9
9. Shos 5
