If you're making a big project, and it requires lots of WorldEditing, you really don't have time to look over EVERY SINGLE DETAIL. If the sever crashes happen frequently, then there should be a punishment. But if it happens within a span of server months, it should be alright, shouldn't it? With such a useful plugin that is used often, and that you can make mistakes with easily, server crashes WILL happen. Maybe a new system could be made for this, where instead of being punished for how many mistakes you make, you get punished for how many mistakes you make over a certain period of time?

What makes you in a hurry? What makes you lost?

Sorry, it's "lots". Fixed. And what makes me in a hurry is the fact that I don't wanna be bored out of my mind by constantly checking over every singe WorldEdit I make. It's an annoying process that slows down the person using WorldEdit by a large amount, especially when making a mistake that crashes a server or lags it very badly is very rare and happens only once in a while.

Ok Kro. I've actually read your argument properly this time and as a WE user and a ten year old who's not very good at typing I think you have a good point.

...It only takes 2 seconds to check over your written commands for typos.
So you're in a hurry because you don't want to waste 2 seconds of your life, is that what you're saying?

I kinda agree with what kro is saying. While we definitely should not remove our punishments for crashing the server, perhaps they shouldn't be so severe.

What if, for every 3rd time you crashed the server, you lost your WE powers for a week. If you're a trusted member, this allows you to crash the server as often as you'd like, with the inconvenience of losing your powers every once in a while. But if the staff doesn't trust you, you just may lose your WE powers completely instead of simply getting suspended.

What do you guys think about this policy?

Also, kro, your sig is taking a ridiculous amount of time to load recently. I'm not sure if it's a problem, though, since Chrome is smart enough to let that be the last thing on the page to load, but still, it's kind of annoying.

I think that's a good idea. Because diferent people are much more trusted than others.

Hey I'm thinking of making a huge flying nether base, but I would have to delete a MASSIVE amount of space. I'm 100% sure it would crash the server, so I'm wondering if this policy could become official because I really wanna make this project.

You do know that if you try doing it in small chunks it won't crash the server... right?  It's not that hard to know which will crash the server and what won't..

So, I just accidentally bounded the tree tool to the diamond shovel and the server reset for like 2 seconds. Is this worthy of 3 days ban from Worldedit?
