Woah, fungus has finally posted somewhere.

Speaking of which, maybe this is a good quiet place to admit that when kitti came back, that actually wasn't catta, that was me, and on some occasions, Isa, who posted the 5000th number, and fungus a couple of times. Every mod was in on it, including HB. I think I recall that we didn't tell mystic and we ended up completely fooling him.

In fact, if you really think about it, I bet most non-mods had no clue what was going on at the time, and were confused and refrained from accusations.

And catta did a good job of trying to quietly expose us. But it was sadly unsuccessful.

First she asked if I could help her in zelda, but I told her that I got all of my help from CSD, and referred her to him instead.

And then I think she also asked me if I was planning on making any new caves. I either didn't respond, or it got deleted. But I thought I made up some excuse.

Then she also asked to help me make a story for Labyrinth_of_Doom, which happened to win the CotW award. I countered that with a "Saw" reference. I would have thought that someone would have gotten suspicious after that one.

I thought Isa had completely blown our cover when he had her post the 5000th post on the board. After doggi had already posted it, and I locked the board...

But apparently people didn't publicly speculate anything, so near the creation of the new site, I did a ridiculous rant about how everyone but me and shos should be banned from the new site. I was amazed at the oblivious response. I mean, come on guys, really. Lets take a look at this conversation.



So, you'd expect that someone would go, "You know what, even for kitti, this is overly ridiculous. Somethings not right". But no one was very suspicious of kitti getting 5000. So, I put my name in on the original post, twice, as a little hint.





shos? Shos? Ugh. Way off. I guess he didn't get the obvious reference, to when kitti treated shos extra nice compared to all of the other members.

And then after mentioning his name wasn't on the list, I eventually logged onto kittikiyana, and edited my post, adding mystic to the immature list. If I edited it through quirvy, you wouldn't get the note at the bottom.

So, then came kroto...

That probably made mystic think that shos just confessed to pretending to be kitti. Which is pretty bad, because if mystic can't get it right, what chance to all the rest of the non-mods have? So, kroto responded to shos' post now...

You might be expecting me to comment on how yet again, someone failed to realize the obvious, but this was actually just good acting by HB. It fits in with the rest of the posts really well.

After that post, I thought it was time for kitti to make a response.

I love how nobody became suspicious when I deleted Doggi's 5000 post. Man, Quirvy did NOT deserve to get the last post due to using two different accounts. So I simply unlocked the Count to 5000 board, deleted doggis post, signed in to Kittis account and posted, then locked the board again. Then, since I figured out doggi's password (only Quirvy/CSD was supposed to know, I think), I logged in to his account and changed the password. Quirvy got a bit angry there...

... How did you know my password?

On the old site, admins had the power to change passwords into anything they like. CSD was an admin at the old site.

Yeah, I remember that CSD claimed that he couldn't log in to your account and change the password, but he could change your password and log in to your account.

i thought mods logging in as other members to post was breaking the rules. If i was the victim i would've have given you a piece of my mind, but now i've got a super-strong password and if i find that i have extra posts or i can't log in you know who to suspect. That doesn't mean they did it, it just raises my suspicion.

Yes. For some practice runs, I've skipped the 3rd treasure. That is, the one in the corner guarded by a ghost. I got it only once. I think I'll do it multi-segment if it is fixed.

Well, Isa, no one was online, and I was tired of waiting. Either way, I was more mad at you changing the password. I mean, come on...

Some other mildly important details:

I wanted CSD to change the password, but he didn't do it;



So I actually got accel to do it. Yes, he did eventually come online at one point. He also changed doggi's password.

But I didn't make doggi's password with the intention of making sure that only I and accel knew it.

Anyways...







And for those wondering, no, this plan wasn't introduced in some huge post on the mods forums. I included the suggestion in a post.

The interesting thing though, was that I posted that only a few days before catta first posted on cattatron13. 6 minutes after her post, I posted on the mods forums about her being kitti, and that probably was what gave the idea so much mod support.


But we mods still have one question; what was with that PM to and from alfav?

You do realize that we can't monitor your PM's, right? That's why they're called Private Messages. Well, we can't monitor them unless we take control of your account, that is...

But yeah. And after you left that account, eventually I got Fungus to mod kitti's dubloons. This was also long before I took control of kitti's account.



So, since alfav responded to herself, I decided that it was only right for me to respond to fungus, even though he was in on it.

And to evan. Making a seperate account with the intention of posting on it as opposed to your original account is against the rules. We took over the account. And it's not like it was in use.

We should have done this on april fools.

I wanna make it very clear that we do not have the ability to see anybody's passwords. At the old forum, we could change it to something else if, say, somebody forgot their password and their email, or something like that, but we can't actually know what your current one is.

And I made one post as kitty, but I didn't wanna get TOO involved with this whole thing. It was the one where kitti wished that she would win the spotlight, after catt has won.

As you may have understood by now, most of the things that Kitti said was actually Quirvy in disguise. At times Fungi would post something, and I made the "5000! Yay!" post. CSD also posted once.

None of the other mods (shos, jell for example) did anything to Kitti. As Quirvy said, CSD also refused to change the password for Quirvy.

Then Accel came along and changed the password for both Doggi and Kitti to 69.

While he posted the password for Kitti in the mod forums, he never did so for Doggi. However, because of the mods obsession with the number 69 (special mention goes to CSD), I felt that it was pretty safe to guess that Doggi's password would be 69 too. I tried once and voila! I never posted on doggi's account, but I changed his avatar from that ugle dog to a spatula. I found that fitting.

Then, the Count to 5000 board was finished. Quirvy cheated to get the last seven posts, and some of us mods bashed him for that (including me). This was unacceptable! Doggi should NOT get the last post in that board! It felt like a real mockery, after all the fighting I had to do to let the board stay.

And so, my simple idea was born. To change the password from 69...to 96.

I also made sure that Kitti got the last post on the Count to 5000 board. I would have posted it on my main account, but I would have been flamed by most people around here if I did so, I think. So I made sure Kitti got the post instead.

Regarding the password, Quirvy has been a bit grumpy since I changed the password, at least when Doggi is mentioned. I honestly thought that he would try some passwords, but apparently he didn't do so.

Was  like some sort of scandal on the old site? I'm kinda lost.

It was more like this: The user you know as Cattatron, made a grand total of 6 different accounts on the old forums. She left one after introducing a new one. Because mods can IP check from where an account is created (and from where it posts), we knew it was the same person.

However, she denied it. This made us mods go pretty much berserker stance against her. So, one day, Quirvy and Accel hijacked one of her old accounts.

Those last 7 posts were representive of how serious I took that board. I thought it was only fitting to end it with the user who is taken the least seriously.

What you did though really ticked me off at the time. It wasn't just one thing that you screwed up. It was two.

I was clearly very mad about you taking away doggi, who was byfar one of the most entertaining characters on the interguild. I felt betrayed. I trusted you not to mess anything up. If I didn't, I would have changed doggi's password. And then you stabbed me in the back and changed his password, despite the fact that at the time you were the only mod who found him to be annoying.

Then you also made a really dumb move by having kitti post 5000, about 5 days after doggi did, which could have completely ruined the kitti plot.

So a big thumbs down to that move.

I did what I could to save fungus little brother's old account.

I'm surprised you just dismissed those guys' posts as Kitti so quickly, though. If I made a bunch of personas and one of them inexplicably sprang to life on its own one day, I'd be wondering about it until I found out.  =o

Actually I was a bit suspicious of Kitti getting 5000. Then in the mods abusing rights topic Isa said he deleted my count, then I had a bit of suspicion with Isa. Turns out that I'm right. O_o

There was probably a reason for why he deleted you're count. Whatever that's means...
