I've played Minesweeper (comes installed with Windows) for some time now and I recently got a fairly acceptable score of 155 seconds at the Master Sweeper settings (I don't know what it's called in English, but the grid is 30x16 and contains 99 mines). Anyone else playing? | | shos |

wow, 156 secs is a very good score. My best at master sweeper(in hebrew it's just 'expert' is only 248.

I'm a addictive minesweeper player on nights where I'm supposed to be doing homework. I haven't payed attention to the time, I suck so much that I just try to beat the level. Practicly fell out of my chair enjoy after beating easy mode for the 1st time.

Lol, I suck. Been trying expert for 2 hours. Right now, I just had 2 mines left. Died. It wasn't a guessing type of situation, either. Seriously, I left this one part until the end, 'cause I needed to know how many mines were in there before I could tackle it, I got lucky that there wasn't any other place on the grid where I would need that type of information, but then I miscounted the number of mines around this one square. *headdesk* I SHOULD HAVE HAD IT! AHAGHAGHA!
Never playing this game again.
If I put the mine where I put it, that puts three with the three and four with the four, which would be the correct solution if there were only one mine left, or if there were only two mines around that four instead of three. But anyway, since I should have known that was the wrong place for a mine, I would have known that the mine should be in the corner, and from there, a three pops up, and then I know where the last mine is. | | Yaya |

here's something challanging for you guys: try to make your game this way - same size like expert - but with 200 mines. i've been struggling for this one quite alot lately.

Yay! I won one! I had a 4, with two known mines around it, two unknown mines left on the grid, and three squares from which to pick from. There were absolutely no other numbers anywhere else to help me decide which of the three remaining squares was not a mine. So I polled the 7 or so people in the lab, and 5 thought I should click the middle, and they were right, lol. | | midnight |

Maybe I should make a strategy guide... try 200 bombs now, same size.

Real men do Rubik's Cubes.
I am at about 2.5 minutes for that. But to get any lower I will have to step away from the basic algorithms and learn all this crazy stuff.

I don't have a way, I cheer in joy when getting 8 colors on one side and proceed to screw myself over by trying to get the 9th. Who need mathematical algorithms?

Crazy words... Rubik's Cubes are annoying. I screw at it. My highest score would be, oh, a big fat ZERO. I don't nessecarily have one... I played with a friend's... | | shos |

my record for that is 81 seconds. i have a friend who has 3-cube, 4-cube, 5-cube, 6 cube and 7-cube :O:O:O
...although the 7 isn't really a cube. it's not possible physically, i think.

A friend of mine has a 2-cube, 3-cube and a 4-cube.
I have three 3-cubes, one with pictures on each side which makes it even more difficult, as well as some Rubik's Pyramid thing.

There only are 6 colours, unless you have a cube with 9 sides?
