Harry Potter is a series of seven fantasy novels written by the British author Joanne Rowling. The books chronicle the adventures of a wizard, Harry Potter and his friends Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story arc concerns Harry's quest to overcome the Dark wizard Lord Voldemort, whose aims are to become immortal, to conquer the wizarding world, subjugate non-magical people, and destroy all those who stand in his way, especially Harry Potter.
Since the release of the first novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone on 30 June 1997, the books have gained immense popularity, critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide. The series has also had some share of criticism, including concern for the increasingly dark tone. As of June 2011, the book series has sold about 450 million copies, making it the best-selling books series in history and has been translated into 67 languages, and the last four books consecutively set records as the fastest-selling books in history.
A series of many genres, including fantasy and coming of age (with elements of mystery, thriller, adventure, and romance), it has many cultural meanings and references. According to Rowling, the main theme is death, although it is primarily considered to be a work of children's literature. There are also many other themes in the series, such as prejudice and corruption.
The initial major publishers of the books were Bloomsbury in the United Kingdom and Scholastic Press in the United States. The books have since been published by many publishers worldwide. In October 2011, the series will be released in various ebook formats through "Pottermore". The books, with the seventh book split into two parts, have been made into an eight part film series by Warner Bros. Pictures, the highest grossing film series of all time. The series also originated much tie-in merchandise, making the Harry Potter brand worth in excess of $15 billion.

LIES, the post above this one is full of them.
BTW, Silver's post has been skipped over since she has used the letter I, instead of the letter L.

Really now... I guess it's because it's used the most and then it just becomes habit.
Seems like every kids' book uses it, and then it just gets ingrained in our minds.

See, the problem is that you guys aren't being consistent. In kooler's post about harry potter, all of his sentences did not follow the alphabet rule. some do, some don't, so we need to be consistent for this topic to stay alive.

Truth be told, I think it should just be the first letter of every post, not every sentence. Unfortunately, not everyone can follow the pattern with all their sentences, so we should avoid it for the sake of nondiscrimination.

Xtremely ignorant people here... I DID S AS WELL!
You guys need to look more closely.
Zuma is a fun game.
Actually, I have it for my iPod.
Before you know it, the levels get hard.
Careful, though.
Demons lurk in every corner.
Everything will crash down.
Fight downtown.
Get up and drop that bass.
Hell, I don't care, just dance.
In all honesty, I want this topic locked, too, since people can't do it right.
Jump, y'all, and show me what it's all about, don't stand just jump.
Kill it, Jell, you know the next one.

ZZZZZAAAAAHHHHHH (rage yelling)!!!!!!
Okay people, it's as simple as this, the first word of the first sentence is the ONLY word that counts, so that means Bmw, your post is only counted as an X, adding the rest of the letters KILLS THIS GAME.
Now that I'm done with that, LET'S MOVE ON!
BTW, I used a Z since MD (Chezerony) used a W and skipped Y.

Back in the old days, it was established that if someone continued to start paragraph/new lines with the following letters of the alphabet, that the next poster could either ignore the other paragraphs, or continue at the last paragraph.
Chezerony on the other hand... Well, I don't know what that was...
