Since no Endgame topic has been made, I will do my shout-outs here.

Thomas: Great game, you have significantly improved compared to the previous game. Your constant WIFOM shouting got annoying, but other than that you played really well. So well in fact that this sudden change in behavior made me suspicious of you D1 and during the end of D2. I do think the Silver lynch on D2 was pretty stupid and that we should have lynched Kooler instead, but in the end it worked out well.

Shos: You had some bad luck, but you still played very sloppy. I already knew you would try the "I watched the killed person and saw it was Thomas/Jellsprout" trick the moment I saw you claim that role. And I suppose you already know you messed up with your sudden caution to lynch Bmwsu. I'd also like to point to this quote from D3:
'shos' said:
and the moment jell started suspecting you, he immidiately gets killed. I'd have seen this coming even if I didn't watch jell.

That is pretty amazing, because I didn't see this coming at all. I never made my suspicions of Thomas clear at all. The only thing I said was that all my suspects had already voted for Silver at that time. But since everybody short of Kooler, Silver and myself had voted this didn't exactly say much.
Confirming Soccerboy as Town was also a mistake. It didn't do anything to make you less suspicious, while it reduced the pool of potential Mafia. With Soccerboy confirmed Town and Thomas and Shavey playing a major role in the Bmwsu lynch, at that point you, Silver and Kooler were the only suspects. And even if both Silver and Kooler got lynched, Town still kept the majority to lynch you the final day.

Silver: The Eternal Mafia stereotype still haunts you. In my opinion D2 was your least scummy day so far, but everybody is afraid of overlooking you due to Gambler's Fallacy and are more observant of any scummy behavior. I admit I was guilty of this myself. In hindsight I should have noticed you FoS'ing Shos when he was at L-1 and I should at least have tried to convince everybody to lynch Kooler instead. Not trying to stop your lynch was the biggest mistake I made this game.

Kooler: Your best game to date, keep it up!

Yuggy: It is a shame you got killed N1. You were playing pretty good D1 compared to your previous game. I want to see more of you next game.

Soccerboy: You roleclaimed too early. The game was over very fast, so it didn't make much of a difference, but in full games you should keep the Doctor role a secret as long as possible. It is a powerful role and it makes you a likely Mafia target. Other than that I didn't really get much from you. You didn't make any bold claims or contributed a lot for the Town. The biggest benefit you brought was being a confirmed Townie and reducing the pool of potential Mafia.

Bmwsu: One word of advice if you ever become Mafia again in the future. Don't vote and say it is because they act exactly like you when you are Town. You know why he acts like that despite being Town, so you experienced it yourself. In your Soccerboy vote you basically said "I know from experience that your behavior is Town-like and that you'll likely get mislynched for it. So here is my vote you."

Shavey Dave: Not much to say here. Your biggest part this game was being just another vote for the lynch. You didn't really bring any new information to find the Mafia. Your only plus was that you didn't neglect "being another vote" for the Bmwsu lynch, allowing me to strike you off the potential Mafia list.

Jazz: A bit more effort would have been appreciated. Not just writing flavor texts, but also bothering to post vote counts every now and then. I don't know what you and Isa agreed about dividing the modding up, but right now it appeared that he basically ran the entire game while he was just supposed to be back-up.

Isa: I much appreciated you modding this game. I just have one question. Why the baker role? The game was too short for him to really have any impact. Only if Shavey got killed N1 or N2 could his role actually have been used, but then he would only have been able to save one or two individuals who would very possibly have already been killed by then.

Dando and CSD: Love you even when you are not playing.

so now that I have access and read everything, I see that everybody here was totally right, lol. for all the dead guys I was obvscum hehe.

I completely agree with you jell on almost everything you wrote here. the only things I have to say is about shavey- he really didn't contribute much, saying 'i suck' and voting for whatever wagon was existing; and about my mistakes, well, all of my gameplay since bmw's lynch had to be the way I did it, imo. the mistake of not bussing bmw(as thomas suggested rightfully) was the worst, but at the time I thought bmw was still in the game and might comment and help me in not-getting-him-lynched. after that, of course I was a suspect and clearly that was right; but the whole play - starting from yuggy's killing, through the roleclaim, and ending in blaming someone ( I considered alot about who to blame, and I thought you can't stay alive. coiuldn't kill both you and thomas =\ ) - was planned starting on N1, counting on the fact that kooler was AFK. if kooler was in, I had no strategy at all, except just holding on, hoping to survive..

for me this game was fun, and I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of this game. I liked being mafia, it involved much more thinking.

When Thomas says something "is WIFOM" what he means is that your argument is basically "mafia wouldn't do this", when really, the mafia will do pretty much anything they feel like if they think it'll get them further in the game. I guess it could be seen as a "scum tell" to make those types of arguments. I'm about as likely to be suspicious of the people running around saying things are "WIFOM" because I find the mafia wants you to think that everything could be WIFOM so that they can get away with doing the things that directly benefit them.

I'm not sure if this makes any sense either.

Jell: WHen I am a co-mod, that means that I step in when I notice that the main mod isn't paying attention for a long time, or when they say that they will be unavailable. I also lock and sticky topics. That's all - Jazz designed the setup himself. It's an old setup used on Mafiascum, but with a Baker added. I am not sure why Jazz wanted it.
For the record, the setup is broken once the cop claims. Doc can just protect the Cop. It's alright when the setup is hidden though.

Also, shos is right - it was an error on my part that allowed the Doctor to protect himself.

Second staff member lynched!

Ah, so you actually were suspicious of me. I did say somewhere that I would play better in this game than in the last game though. I guess I didn't find Silver that scummy but I just got annoyed that she wouldn't share any thoughts. I don't want to let people feel like they can get by without sharing thoughts because then the mafia will fly under the radar as well.

Oh, and if you wanna see what I mean when I say WIFOM then see what CSD said. But pretty much it's when someone says something like "lynch me guys!" and someone clears the person as town because they think mafia would never ask to be lynched. I used WIFOM a lot as town in HatXC Mafia on D4 but I was a terrible mafia player at that time. In this post, I said "Lynch me then" and then later I probably said that mafia wouldn't say that. This looks like WIFOM as well because I said mafia would not say their partner is town. That post didn't really make much sense... Here, I said I was proving that I was town because "a mafia would not say that." And in this post, I said "If I was mafia why do you think I would make such stupid posts such as the following" and I went on to quote the post that said "lynch me then", etc. So yeah that's some WIFOM and I certainly do not want to keep players alive who use WIFOM so I guess my lynch in HatXC Mafia was okay. The use of WIFOM in the last game was not that bad though because it didn't get to the point that the people who used it said "I'm town because mafia would never say what I said" but I always call it. Silver's WIFOM did make Soccerboy reconsider so I definitely called that.

Comments.

shos: Well I already covered some stuff in the game thread but you gotta bus your partner when they make a big mistake. Don't call people who flip town dangerous and don't say that you will vote somebody if they get more votes. A pro-town player will vote the person who they suspect, not whoever has the most votes/gets more votes. If you wanna join mafiascum then go here: http://mafiascum.net/forum/ucp.php?mode=register

Silver: Just like last game, post your thoughts. I remember at some point on D2 you did post something but it looked like you just copy and pasted what jellsprout said and then posted it. Don't refuse your thoughts and don't say you don't have any because as long as you're reading the thread, you should be thinking something related to the game, right?

Kooler: Don't join a game if you aren't going to play.

Yuggy: Better play this game. I do recall having a slight town-read on you in this game but I don't really know why. It may have been because I felt that you were avoiding me. You did post less than I would have expected but you did still post and it didn't get to the point that I asked you for your thoughts so that may be why I didn't suspect you.

jellsprout: Good job at finding scum so early but you should have done more to prove that you were town. That will probably come with posting more though because I felt that you didn't post as much as you have in past games.

soccerboy13542: You've had it easy being almost confirmed town for the last 2 games. If you weren't confirmed then I would have probably asked you to post your thoughts more so make sure you do that. A D1 role claim is not good for anyone, especially a doctor because it is an extremely powerful role and there wasn't much you could do by the time you were at L-1 which is why you need to start out the game with pro-town play. Luckily you were able to protect yourself here but that was only due to a mod error. I didn't think you would be able to protect yourself which is why I made this post in an attempt to make the mafia target someone else even though I didn't think that the setup had a jailkeeper.

Bmwsu: Don't put someone at L-1 so early in the game, especially if you're voting someone for something you did as town and acknowledge that. I also recall having an argument with you about random votes and it was pretty pointless because you, first were arguing something that is done is MANY games and next you said I'm either town or scum so then it's pretty much a null tell so that was a pointless argument. It just reminds me of this game I played in where this obvscum guy was arguing with me about how these inexperience challenged players should play.

Shavey Dave: Make sure you use your night action every night. I did have a slight town read on you on D1 even though I did say you were scum. I was just looking for reactions there. By D3 though (and for part of D2) I was sure you were town but I don't wanna say why because then scum might start doing this thing I think is a town-tell.

Good game and let's win the next one as well! By the way, on D3 I was thinking of saying that shos is scum because he was the only staff member left and a staff member is always mafia but I didn't think that would go well.

Yes, well. There's the problem - I think so many things at once and it gets all cluttered and it's a bit hard to think about one thing at a time (did I word that right?). Also, I'm really bad at translating my thoughts into words. I'm not refusing to post thoughts, more like struggling.

It was a little harder this game as I was town, I'm not used to being town (as everyone clearly knows by now), so my thought process was muddled.

I hope I won't be mafia again for a while. I'm tired of being it so much - being town this game was a HUGE relief.

But you still had the time to post and say something like "lol you didn't replace me yet." And no, it has nothing to do with you having to read posts. You logged on, and you didn't confirm your role. It took a few more days of logging on before you did. That shows that you have no interest in playing.

I don't know what "alot" means and I can't find it in the dictionary but you still had time to post and say that you weren't replaced yet, post in minecraft topics and topics like "Martial arts discussion thread discussion thread." Like I said, it's not time, you just aren't interested in playing.

Maybe you meant "allot" but then that doesn't make sense...

I'm posting less because I'm getting pretty tired of Mafia. Being an active and competent player requires a lot of effort. That is also why I requested to become a reserve in the next game.
Besides that, I was moving into a new apartment during the game, which also took up a lot of my time and energy.

I just thought about it, and look how lucky you guys were! I confirmed sccerboy as town for me, and blamed thomas. If I had blamed shavey, thomas would probably think that shavey just gave him bread, so that he will confirm me watcher. and then thomas will be completely lost, because I'm a watcher, soccer's a doctor, and shavey's a baker. or so it seems..? or something like that?
