Yes, it's true, Brohoster is back up! Also they give their returning customers one month of server hosting for free, and they will also give their customers a recurring 25% discount for every month! You can read about it here. Also Livio has a backup of the old server, so here's my question, should we bring the old server back and import all of the stuff from our second server to the old one in a fitting place? Some examples would be: Krocity could be placed in a snow biome near spawn, Guytown or whatever GuyGuy/FlashMarsh wants to call his city could be placed near a sandy beach, ect. ect. Plus we don't have to pick Brohoster if they cost too much for this site, we could always use the one we have. Also we could rename it TheInterserver just like our new server if we want to.

If we decide to switch to Brohoster and/or bring back the old world, it probably won't be until Christmas that this actually gets done. And even then, Bmw will probably be the one to set it up because I'll be too busy trying to get an Aeon demo out.

I personally can't decide between the old world and the new one. The old world has a bunch of memories, but it's not really as great as nostalgia might have you believe. And there are quite a lot of projects on the new world, but they just aren't well known or advertised enough.

And if we're gonna move things back and forth between the worlds, we better come up with a system that works, rather than running into dead ends later.

Our old server was great though. It was so much better than our current one. If it came back I wouldn't play on MC server 2 atall though...

Well that can't happen if you have a backup of the server, unless if it decides to generate an NPC village.

If I could choose I would do this:

New Server

Scrap the new server because it sucks.

and

Old server

Get back the old server because it's epic.

How about, new server again, this time work together to make an adventure map or something. The mystery of the Interguild, IDK.

The new server doesn't suck, it's just that nobody decides to do anything so there isn't much in it.

I haven't even played on the old one. I'd love to be on the old one - besides, it sounds better than the new one.

Watch the tours by Livio, even though the first one is over an hour long, it shows how epic the old server was.

A thing about the new server is that everything is just a mishmash of stuff that doesn't really belong- like Krocity has 2 castles, 3 or 4 houses and a hotel skyscraper. We need to work more on a sort of place/theme for the things we build, instead of just building whatever we want. Sort of like lightown or Sunrise Bay. Lightown was mostly a shopping/vacation town- with many stores and a nice beach. Sunrise Bay was very modern and was mostly made of iron blocks, glass and slabs. We need to get more organized with what we build. Maybe an NER for this server to build near would really help us, because we would have an organized place which was very busy and where you could see many interesting things at once. One more thing, STOP WITH THE REDSTONE TESTS EVERYWHERE EVERYONE! It makes the server look look messy and bad! If you're gonna test a redstone thing in the middle of the wilderness, get rid of it afterwards! And if you don't want it removed, actually use it for something!

I've been looking into mods that would allow us to have multiple worlds on the same server. What I want to try to do is get both the old world and the new world running on the same world and then try copy-pasting some of our best creations from the new world into the old world. What do you think?

That'll be a problem. However, I do have an idea, because luckily Minecraft has two, unlimited dimentions...

I'm thinking maybe you could delete the current nether map, and replace it with the map of the old server, that way we would have both of the maps without any of that extra stuff. I don't know much about servers, so I don't know if it would work or not, but you could try?

I really want to try this now, but it'll have to wait until next weekend. I have an essay due tomorrow...

There is a difference between server, host, and world.  The WORLD is what we need to change if we want our old buildings back.  Can you guys name one thing that our old HOST did better?  We have so much more on the cPanel with this new host, for example.  And we've had less problems with the new host than the old one.

I just wan't are old creations back. The stone slab piramid spawn, the Interguild blimp, the NER, my dojo that I built... I could go on forever.
