I was in Seattle this week for a developer conference, so I met up with Livio and Quirvy. Quirvy took this photo. Really cool to meet you guys and get a tour of Seattle!

Apologies to any locals who didn't get invited to this. It was a pretty last minute thing and Livio was the only one who I knew lived in that area. He then mentioned that Quirvy lived nearby, so the three of us figured out a time and place. It wasn't really an official IG meetup or anything. That said, this is evidence that we are capable of organising real-life meetups. So maybe the new staff could arrange something. It'd probably be US-based, and European members like myself wouldn't be able to come unless they happened to be travelling nearby, but it could be a great way for you guys to get to know each other beyond the realm of Minecraft or Random Chat.

I really enjoyed meeting Livio and Quirvy, and getting to know the real people behind their Internet personas. The rest of you guys should do something. If it's a small event, just hang around a city and eat doughnuts like we did. Or if more people are interested, maybe you could hire an Internet cafe for a gaming LAN or something. Or something more substantial, I don't know. Go wild, folks.

This might be a good time to mention that I now live in Seattle. I don't think I ever publicly announced.

Nope. Before jebby asked, neither of us were motivated enough to try to organize a meet up with the other, I guess. I've only been in Seattle for a few months, though.

I think Quirvy just doesn't want his face thrown around the Internet for all to see. I don't have a problem with that exposure myself, but I can totally understand people who feel uncomfortable about it.
