So I'm going to host a competition in minecraft. Since I don't play minecraft, you all are going to choose limitations to be cast on yourselves. This could be anything; examples:

Anything smaller than 10x10x20
Anything made only form stone
anything made only from stone and dirt
etc etc, I dunno, think yourself.

Once you get some 4-5 good ideas here, I'll hold up a poll in this topic, and when it's over, I'll officially announce the competition, with a theme, rules, etc.

What are you talking about?  You just make the coolest kind of abstract art that you can.  There's not really any restrictions you need, besides that you have to work on it alone, and no WorldEdit (I think for this kind of idea would be best without WE.).

Okay, a 20x20x20 box, and you make the best abstract art you can.  I don't see why I can't recommend a theme, either.  Also, if Flash said "A house mainly build from dirt", then what kind of theme are you going to come up with.  It has to be a house, and made of dirt.
"Best underwater construction" isn't exactly a restriction.  I took that as a theme.  Sure, it restricts you to only underwater creations, but the theme is underwater buildings.  Maybe I'm not getting something here (And that's probably the case. =P), but I'm not seeing it.
Either way, I still suggest that.  I see no reason as to why I can't suggest a perfectly valid idea. ;P

EDIT: And something completely unrelated to this topic is that this post is my 1995th, the same as my birth year. =P

Actually, I really like Flash's idea. It dosen't have to be entirely made out of dirt does it? Anyways I'm in favour of the dirt house house idea.

Do think there will be some Kind of list of blocks your allowed to use or just the rule predominantly dirt?

I think a list would fit better, like for example dirt, grass, and fence or something.

Glass should be allowed.

He said predominately dirt, meaning, according to Dictionary.com "to have numerical superiority or advantage."  In other words, the majority of the blocks used has to be dirt.  Other blocks are allowed, but you have to use mostly dirt.
