I think the blue and grey look really awesome together, but I think the logo doesn't fit with the other fonts. I think maybe it should be less blocky or make the forum, comps, galleries.... stuff a more angular font.

The logo is just as fine as it is.

yeah I didn't put as much effort into the logo as I wanted to, but for now I'm just using that as a front. In the next few days I'm gonna mess more with the overall background of the page, and make a real logo. If I wanted to put a cooler font for the quick links at the top of the page (which would be really cool, actually) I'd have to make images for them and I hate making image quick-links for some reason probably because of bad memories of them. anyway, thanks for the ideas.

you think that's bright? I actually made the gold more subdued and more toned down to make it match darkness of the layout. lol You're lucky I didn't go with old-Interguild gold. Maybe you'll get used to it.

and yeah it does remind you a lot about the old forums doesn't it? basically we were planning on coming up with a whole new color scheme, and when that failed I decided to see if maybe I could improve the old one, and look how cool it came out.

Update: News posts look cooler and without avatars, but also without all that empty space. You may have to Ctrl+F5

you know even though the old layout is kinda ugly, going back to it sure is nostalgic. (because every time I make a change on the site, I have to make sure it works on both layouts)

What does Ctrl+F5 do?
