Nice job. It looks cool, but a sorta dumb thing is there are options on the top that are on the left bar. We'll all probably use top/bottom always and the other never.

yeah, but I figured a good way to treat the sidebar would be as a "portable site map" where all major links to the site are there, but since it's naturally so intimidating to look at, we shouldn't rely on it.

so I guess the next thing for me to work on now is to redesign the video archive, then the guides section. Then the game pages... then build a section for hacks...

well it doesn't suck so much. actually it's quite good, and the add is almost unnoticed cuz of its layout. good, now make a new layout for the interguild neopets account.

true. change THAT back; i didn't notice the line got changed - but now seeing it, it should be the way it was. i mean, the design's cool, just change that line.

Personally, I think there is too much black at the top, especially since I don't see the ad.

maybe that's your monitor? You should try brightening it. but yeah, it is kinda hidden. But that's only when it's in text version; sometimes it's an image/flash banner, just like the ad in the bottom.

It used to say "gaming community". Doesn't explain us too good...well, it's not really our slogan. It's main purpose is so that people can understand what we are quickly. And "Level Making Community" doesn't really imply that we feature lots of games, it just implies that we make levels or something. Which would lead the average newcomer to think "levels for what?" or something. But the point is that it leaves a trace of uncertainty with it.

I like the sub-heading at the top of the screen. Works for me.

Combining the online members, Chatbox and Recent posts/topics bar is pretty cool.

A little off topic, but why is the staff panel all the way at the bottom of the page? I assure you, I click those links much more often than I click the links under "Departments," which happens to be a really pointless, if you consider the fact that all of those links are on the top-bar of every single page.

It's not that I plan on using it often, it just seems so out of the way. I remember when you first moved it all the way down there, I remember thinking that CSD had removed my staff powers again.

Ad click = money. If we make enough, we can buy Google ad words, and advertise the site Haily's tried it with IceCaves and he's getting quite a few people clicking on ads to IC.net for like $4-$6 a day
