CSD. The veteran of the Interguild, known for classics such as The Cascades, Metal Madness and 3 Arrows - 5 Minutes. A legend among legends. Nobody could ever reach such skill. At least you can try.

The goal of this competition is to imitate CSD's style and make a level. And please keep the 5 Minute levels to a minimum. We've already had a competition for those.

This competition's theme has been brought to you by Soccerboy. For those wanting to know why I picked CSD, ask random.org

Lol! It's my LOGO!

I will be judging based on how well you've mimicked one of my styles. But what I REALLY wanna see is something like NWUE2, lol, THAT would be fun to see. Also, you better put a logo in the cave. Bonus points if it blows up at some point.

I win by default, no matter what I enter, right? Wait, I can't enter? ..... Is that "cavetester" account still around?

lol at this comp

hmm, with next week being Thanksgiving (in the U.S.), I wonder if I'll decide to join this comp because I've been feeling like making a cave lately. I would have to catch up on CSD's style, though.

I propose that we all put a NOT CSD logo in our caves.

I also edited your post, trying to block that win censor using the minicode tag, and it doesn't seem to blend very well

A "not" CSD logo? Seems odd.

I suppose i would be following the NWYE2 style, but i used up almost all my ideas in IK  and IK2 . Ah well, i shall hijack some of these traps from there. Hmm. I'll be studying CSD's caves before i start.

I don't think it is even possible to submit multiple entries. I don't think there is a workaround for the mods either.

ERROR: You have already joined this competition! If you want to submit a different entry, go to the "My Competition Entries" page and delete your previous entry before submitting again.

Awwh, whatever.

There is a workaround. A mod can change who created a level, so I could change the ownership of a level you've entered to...myself, for example. After that is done, you submit your new entry to the comp and I change your first level so that it belongs to you again. I did that in the banner comp.

Just so you don't get the wrong idea, not making a level won't automatically give you first place, as Quirvy sometimes likes to do in his competitions.

Hmm, not bad. Admittedly, when I go big like this, I like to pack it a little denser. Lol, it just occurred to me that, with the way I've been releasing caves lately, the people that don't enter are copying my style the most. But just to clarify, not entering will NOT win you this comp like it did the Lack of Effort comp.

That was actually the inspiration for at least 2 of my caves.

I took the general idea of fooling the player and made the fall of death

But then I took it a little farther(understatement considering the complexity of Fall of Death) and made Midnight IV.

For cascades, I could try to use Aquarius, although that doesn't really work, it was actually inspired by peoples' use of water crates in general, and I just wanted to make one of those caves.

But for metal madness I can easily point to Steel Insanity

Also, he has Zero Gravity Zone, and I have Zero G, I, II & III.

I don't believe I have anything remotely related to Floorless Frenzy, though.

The way I see it, to be like CSD you have to implement a new idea as CSD's caves always exploit some new glitch or other that he worked out. Copying the themes of one of CSD's caves isn't really copying the style of his cavemaking which makes this competition especially hard. I'm trying something using the heart crate trick, but much more by making you do the entire (small) level differently to double the length of the cave and I've thrown in some other original ideas, but it's not going well.

I made a new level that exploits a glitch. But that's the whole level :/
