Tomorrow (Sunday) I'm leaving for a last-minute vacation before school starts again. I'll be gone until Thursday, just like last time, but hopefully this time I really will be back on Thursday. Our destination this time is Utah.

I'm gonna try to bring my laptop so that I can work on Aeon during the long car ride.

I go back to university on the 22nd.

I'm back! I didn't log in yesterday because I was exhausted and we got back late. And I spent most of today dealing with school stuff. I've only got 8 days left before I move back into university.

I will be on holiday for two wekks, (14th-28th,) and I won't be on.

I will be away for 2 weeks starting sunday, and I'll be back on the 28th. There will not be any internet, so I won't be able to come on unlike when I went away a couple of weeks ago.

i will be going to oregon. again.

Yeah, so I should probably give you guys the heads up that in about a week I'll start college, and I'll probably be significantly less active during college than I have been during high school. But I don't actually know for sure since I haven't been to college yet, but I'm still giving you this warning in case I suddenly disappear and everyone's like, "hey, where'd Quirvy go?"

And in case you didn't know, Livio started class yesterday/earlier today, and that's basically why you don't have the IO results along with some judging that didn't get done as soon as it probably should have, but mostly because of Livio's absence.

You guys are probably wondering where I've been for the past year. I have been doing a lot of musical stuff like playing guitar, writing guitar music and making electronica songs under the alias "Captain Galactic".

Seeing as Quirvy mentioned his future probable absence, I might as well. I'm starting university this Friday, we'll see what it leads to.

Are you doing this thru college, or just for fun? What intruments/machines/programs do you use besides the guitar?

My school starts tomorrow. It won't effect my time on as much as the college people, but I'll still be missing from 6 AM - 3 PM every weekday (and homework. lots and lots of homework)

What happened with the URL was that Onarole used a URL tag around the URL, but didn't actually put in the URL so I guess it just defaulted to the page of the post or something. I've done that before, except intentionally. Anyone notice the topic ID in the link in this post?

Also I think Onarole is probably in high school still, so not through college.

Actually I'm going into high school. I use FL Studio 10 and Audacity for most of my electronica stuff. I also use a Schecter guitar (Usually), A Seagull acoustic guitar, A Tascam Recording Device, and I used to use Garageband (Not so much anymore).
All of my musical projects are for fun. I love music!

For all you kids first going to college, let me learn you the golden rule:

College is not school.

You don't go to college because the law is forcing you. You go to college because you choose to go to college, because you want to go to college. You don't have to go to college, you get to go to college. Remember this.

ye well, I dunno about college, but university seems like something similar and i'm very familiar with it(4th year starting now). so uh, there isn't even one resemblence point for me between university and school. not even one. in school, people care about your grades, presence, homework, etc. in high education, people just don't. it's your responsibility, and it's much harder. and more expensive, at least here, lol =\

in comparison to school, I'd say the first course I ever took at university was much, much harder than the 12 years I spent in school, together, doubled =\

I agree with Jell in saying that college is a privilege and optional in the end. I don't necessarily have a direction in my life, but I'll probably still go to college on an undecided major or something to avoid becoming part of my town's decent sized army of high school graduates who don't go to college and hog jobs in the neighborhood.

Hi guys, I got back yesterday, (28th) but it was too late for me to go on I found wifi cafe on holiday but the signal was useless so I  just gave up.

Tomorrow college starts again. For the next half year I will follow a minor, meaning I won't follow any of my major's courses (so no physics courses) but instead follow a different set. I have decided to follow an applied mathematics minor, so next half year all my courses will be either math or computation, with a little bit of finance mixed in. I have always been weaker in math than in physics and I made it myself extra heavy this semester, so I might be a little less active.
