I've been caught up in school work recently, but now that I have a 3 day weekend I should be a little bit more active.

btw, since we're in the reasons-for-not-being-online topic: Last night was my high school graduation. And to make sure that the graduates wouldn't have their own super crazy, alcohol-filled, post-graduation parties, the PTA set up free, all-night, graduates-only event at Dave & Buster's (which is like a restaurant/arcade/bowling alley/party center/casino/something like that). It ended at like 4am, and my main motivation for going was because they were raffling of thousands of dollars in cash, gift cards, and prizes. They were even giving away a black Wii, but I was hoping to win a laptop. However all I won was a 50 dollars gift card for some "Container Store".

No, I'm saying that the "fanboys" all part of a conspiracy by the "fanboys" to control masses into buying their choice of console. I'm not saying they succeed or that they even know they're trying to do it, but that's what's going on.

I will continue to put quotes around the word "fanboy", since too many people use it to mean something like "people who like -something- more than I do" derogatorily, as if people liking something more than themselves makes them mentally retarded. IGN gives the LOST finale a 10? Fanboys. Press gives Mario Galaxy a 98? All Fanboys.

Oh yeah... Got to relate this to the topic. I finally got to play SMG2 yesterday... so that's why I wasn't on? After what I'm going to call an "extended session" I collected all 120 stars, only to find out that there's another 120+ after that... *sigh*. According to my Wii message board, it took me just over 13 hours to beat Bowser with all the 105 (?) stars possible up until that point (I wanted to leave Bowser for as late as possible, because I was pretty sure that after I beat him, I'd be forced to shed most of my 99 lives). It took me 16 or so hours to get all 120 (it was made longer by the occasional game over, which wouldn't have happened if the game had let me keep my freaking lives before going into the hardest portions of the game).

I didn't play it as much today, so right now I think I'm just shy of 150. I'm also replying all the stars that I didn't originally play as Luigi, with Luigi, because that is apparently unlocking "ghosts" (would have been helpful to know that beating Bowser unlocks Luigi permanently, BEFORE I did all of the other stars before beating him... *sigh*). I have no idea what those ghosts are for, but they seem pretty useless, lol. I don't -think- it's me that set the path they're following, lol, but that I don't know for sure should give you an idea of just how little I know about what they're for. I think maybe they might lead you to the comet medal...?

Starting sometime tomorrow I'm going to be gone for about ten days.

Just like Quirvy, I'll be gone for about ten days, then I'll be here for one day, and then I'll be gone seven additional days.

I'm leaving tomorrow at 6 Am for vacation to Florida to get tan and eat even more shrimp cocktails then last year. Most likely, I'll have no internet access. I wish my fellow Ninja Koopas good luck.

I'll be gone in October for 2 weeks due to national exams.

Sorry for the sudden disappearance, guys. I was overwhelmed with school around the corner, the planning of a gigantic family reunion, and other social activities that I decided took priority to the internet. I probably should have mentioned my hiatus beforehand, so I'm sorry if any of you were wondering, "Where did Timi go? I hope he's okay! He didn't get in some sort of accident and die, did he?! He's dead--I know it! I bet he went out heroically by doing something like saving a local University of Arizona student from certain death!"

Realistically, I bet all that's happened was Livio raging, "MY FEATURED CONTENT ISN'T BEING UPDATED!!!"
Oh, and sorry, Quirvy (but not really), for all of those weekly updates you delightedly took on in my stead.

With school finally easing up, I'll be online again a little more frequently. I see that I've been removed from staff, and that's all well, as I truthfully wouldn't be able to keep up while handling my four AP classes and new job. Anyway, I almost have the cave I've been working on since...I joined...completed, so prepare to give out another super high rating soon.

I see that we're still using the karma system...
