but isntead of N could you just do any letter, representing anything?? it doesn't have to be n... or so i think.

n represents a natural number, any positive integer.
If I would use x, it would represent any real number. This isn't true, because in 0.7*10^7+3.2*10^7*sqrt(2)+/-0.1*10^7 seconds it won't be my birthday, but somewhere in August or September.
I can't use z either, that would represent any complex number and .7*10^7+3.2*10^7*(1+i)+/-0.1*10^7 seconds doesn't exist.
Most other letters indicate a real number, but I want the variable to represent a natural number. So no, I can't use any letter. It has to be n, or m if you already named a different variable n.

I may be out for the next couple days. I'm not feeling so hot (but my head is according to my mom) and I've got sniffles and smokeresque coughing fits. I'm gonna go lay down and die for next couple days. So unless I feel better tomorrow I'll be gone.

COMING SOON: A giant meteor. Please.

I might not be on over the next few days due to schoolwork. I just thought I'd let you guys know, instead of just disappearing without warning, like Livio did.

Er, good. Gah, why do I always say good?? Oh yeah, I can never think of a better word.
It's summer here if you don't know. And this is my last term before intermedite (is that how you spell it? I never get it right). At least I can get away from this annoying boy in my class. And he said if I was in his class he'd actually kill himself. I don't believe he'd actually kill himself. But I believe he'd say it because to him I'm frickin' annoying but that doesn't annoy me... OK I better stop there...

P.S. You-know-what is now Lunatea if you care which you won't. And it's hardly cat-ish anymore.

how did your first one go? SAT's are magnificently hard as far as i tried. i tried 15 questions, and got 4 correct, and i was the best in our english-speaking class last year.

Somewhere around the higher 600s for each of the three categories. I definitely feel like I did much better this time, but it'll be months before I can see my grades

I've had tons of homework lately. On Friday and Thursday my Gov/Econ teacher was absent, so he made us read the chapter in the textbook about Congress. That one chapter was like a bagillion pages long, and I learned more stuff reading it than I did throughout the entire year in that class so far.

Bump. Won't be online very much this year due to PSLE, am too tired to explain, ask Ck and ask what happens when he is twelve. Then times that by 2.5 and that will be the reason why I am not going to be online often. -.-

okay. back from the nir school. by tomorrow i have to complete a set of excercises in basc math - in geometry and induction in N dimensions, for the math olympiad for high-schools.
in Thursday i have a test in the Laboratory in the university, which came to me by surprise, and i still have two labs i haven't done. therefore, in Monday and Wednesday/tuesday morning. On Tuesday I have the university championship in Checkmate. on Friday i have the university championship in Math(last yera i won 150$ there, having won 3rd place ^__^). on the next Sunday I have the second stage of the students international olympiad in math. on next Tuesday i have the math olympiad in memory of Prof. Gillis(heard of him?...probably not) which has a 6000$ prize. i have to present a project in computers by tomorrow(it's 10 pm now) which i haven't started, and lastly, in two weeks my university tests start, and i have 5 of them this semester.

....i'm not going to be too active in the near future.

I remember that, and that just means that I was procrastinating from my homework by playing Wii.

I finished the rest of my homework just now, but I still have to study for two tests tomorrow.
