So dutiful he still caries his broom around.
I myself am not too pleased with the result. That head just looks odd on that body. If anyone wants to improve it, go ahead.
yeah he does look kinda weird. lol at the broom, though.
speaking of hugsy, rather than having him land on the moon, maybe he should be sent to another dimension or something. Then we could do some really crazy stuff for his levels.
That Hugsy has got to be the ugliest thing I have ever seen besides Kyurem...
And YES let's send him to another dimension, where platforms actually move and platforms can disappear/fall down, where spikes fall and fire shoots in a certain direction, the water is either tar or a deadly acid, there are bottomless pits - I'm getting carried away with this, aren't I...
Hugsy landing on the moon reeks of HATKC. Him discovering a portal to a different dimension in a moon base somewhere in the first couple levels, might be preferred.

I was very confused for a few seconds there. I read "Hugsy HB style" as "Hugsy HP style", as in Harry Potter style. It made sense with the broom, and it kind of looked like he was wearing a robe, too.
Anyway, I still think the whole game should just be about Hugsy.
I don't really like games with multiple characters :/ it makes everything super confusing.
If we had like 6 characters with all different abilities, it would make ingame quite hard to make.
unless you could program the ingame part to automatically use a certain character without switching :/
but there'd have to be like an info page on each character when you first use and then also it will have to appear in another main screen area.

You know, I was thinking of getting an internship at Microsoft, but I'm not sure I want their lameness to rub off on me.
This animation isn't very good. Only the legs and arms move. Maybe it'll be better to just draw completely new images for each frame (or key frame) rather than trying to manipulate one still into an animation.
Also, you need to take into account the speed of the running, so that the footsteps can match the movements to some extent
Speaking of characters, I think they need clothes.
Ok I'll make more dynamic ones tomorrow. This wasn't meant to be a permanent run at all, just for the demo. But at least I sort of got the gerbil side pose done.
I'd prefer the more realistic route, with elements of humans in it. If not possible, go for a slightly cartoony look - not as extreme-looking as the first picture of Hugsy though.
