Opportunistic vote? Arn't you the one who's always saying your vote is your only weapon? Should I use my vote or not? On the one hand, I'm attacked for not hammering thomas yesterday (I'll get back to this), and on the other I'm attacked for voting him today when he's way more suspicious.
The soccerboy incident was mainly miscommunication. Things were moving fast and I didn't take enough to to be perfectly clear in what I was saying.
Are you saying pushing a case is a scumtell? Because you've been doing that to me all day. You've already said that silver is playing badly, why is so absurd that I felt a push was needed?

Ok, back to the "not hammering Thomas" bit. I wonder why Thomas claimed today at l-3, but yesterday he was at l-1 for the longest time and insisted on getting permission to claim. This is very contradictory behavior. As Isa has pointed out, a real doctor will get NK'd, so what was the purpose of the premature claim today? Let's say he is the doctor. We lynch someone else today, hopefully a scum this time, he gets NK'd. How did this help the town? How did it help him?
Yesterday I didn't want to risk lynching Thomas without good evidence. The case against him was very much like the case against me now; a lot of small things, which may or may not actually be scumtells.
Today, he randomly claims a huge PR and does an OMGUS attack on me for pressing him yesterday. Notice he didn't say anything jell or Isa didn't. Shall we add bandwagoning to the charges? If anyone else did what Thomas has, then we would.

Oh yes you should, but don't expect to be treated lightly just because you actually use it. You had a vote on Jellsprout which I was perfectly fine with you putting down - in fact, I had to encourage you to vote him instead of Silver (which is still a bad vote, for future reference).
Your vote on Thomas came after you had bombed Jellsprout with accusation after accusation. You hadn't bothered to mention Thomas prior to that, except in your first post where you basically excused him for being on both the town-lynch wagons because he showed his line of thought. Your reason for voting Thomas was because you believe that he tried to kill Soccerboy during the night, because Soccerboy said that he thought so. You also put him at L-1 with that vote, and it came at a moment in time where you and Jellsprout started to make it look like it was once of you who were going to go down today for sure, not Thomas.
I don't see how things were moving fast. It wasn't like you came in from a debate and continued your line of thought, it was your first post for that session. You could have taken your time instead of just saying "I believe you".
I am saying that pushing a bad case is a scumtell (Thomas/Silver roleclaim theory, this), and your case on Thomas seems to be heavily focused on "he killed Soccerboy but failed", which is a bad case. If your case had any merit, I'd be fine with it, but all of this "there's a third party/vigilante in the setup" and "Thomas and Silver wanted to make sure Silver claimed to be seen as town" is far-fetched, full of holes and following that, scummy.
And you don't push cases on confirmed town, which is what Silver is. If Silver was cleared as innocent by a cop and you knew there were no Godfather, would you still try to lynch her if she was playing poorly?

Lol, I thought that would've been factored into my supposed "Member Respect", it's not any groundbreaking unheard scandal, I mentioned it here. I didn't explicitly say I was nearly MK'd, but I was one offense away from being so.

Because that's the kinda of evidence we need in the mafia game when we are at this point.  You aren't much better, Silver.

I'm just going to go and Vote: Thomas for the same reasons as yesterday (man those are actually pretty weak)
Yeah, because contradicting yourself by voting with your weak case is genius. Silver, would've you claimed Doctor if you were one any earlier in the game? That's the opposite of Jazz's D1 "I'm mafia" post. Day 3 is still pretty early in a game where mafia is successfully lynched, but things have been rushed even further due to them pwning us. Looking back on past games, nobody would've claimed Doctor this "early" in them, so I don't see a problem with it. Get a better case against Thomas, and a.) I might take some of it into account b.) your own posts won't be used against you.

Snipereborn's status has remained the same as yesterday (as in 24 hr. day) for me. I was going to say likewise for Yuggy, but I saw this post while rereading everything, which is pretty much what I'm saying to Silver in this post. No new thoughts on Jell/SB since they haven't posted today.

Silver is not confirmed town. She's claimed, but that isn't confirmation anymore than Thomas' claim. Neither has been tested, so stop saying either is confirmed.
I'm at two votes right now, and this is the most I've had. How is that "I'm about to go down"?
You also are ignoring everything I had been saying about Thomas D2. At the time of my vote, I was still very much on the janitor theory. With this attack on me, you are using a classic logical fallacy, the Straw Man Argument. You take one part of a multidimensional theory and say that, in isolation, it's weak. But the fact is that there was way more to my case than that.

Also, Isa, how can you in one breath say that several serious scumtells are not enough evidence to lynch Thomas, and in the next say that it's ok to lynch Thomas because he annoys you? I call bs on that.

Silver is confirmed until you have anything that breaks her claim from my POV. Hers has been tested over the course of three nights, and she seems to have given accurate responses every time. Thomas is untested though and we can't really test him. There is plenty of things that make me want to lynch him - already forgotten? - but his claim makes me hesitant. Today, I do not want to lynch him except as a policy lynch. You policy lynch lurkers, I policy lynch those who go around making the game less enjoyable.
Your vote didn't come this minute or this hour, it came on page three. You and Jell were VERY heated.
I ignored what you said about Thomas D2 in your first post on this page because I agree with most of it. It's that simple.

What difference does it make if it's a policy lynch or a scumhunt lynch? Dead is dead. I think it was you that said that me voting thomas as a claimed doc was bad and we should wait to see if he's NK'd.
Since I'm not sure what else on this topic needs to be addressed, I want to point out kooler's role, specifically the description of his power. Maybe there's nothing there, but think about it. If the mafia are the only ones who kill people, what good is his power to see if two bodies were killed by the same person? This hints at there being multiple kill roles, but I don't know that for sure. Would it be useful to know that two different mafia members made kills? It doesn't seem so, except to exclude or confirm the presence of a janitor.

Well, not on your watch! You're willing to do whatever is necessary to earn that reference letter. As such, you have four abilities to choose from. You can use one each night, but you can only use each ability once:

Kill - You can kill a target of your choice.
Hide - You can hide from danger, making you immune to any night actions.
Roleblock - You can roleblock a target, preventing them from using their night action.
Investigate - You can learn a target's role name and alignment.

Right. I think I have a mind block on anything Jazz-related.
Another reason I think that thomas is mafia is that no one has hammered yet. You'd think the mafia would want to kill the doc, wouldn't you? And it would be pretty easy for them to essential copy-paste a bunch of the various arguments for their reason to hammer, so as to not look like a mafioso.
He is at L-1, isn't he?

If he is the Doc, he'll just die overnight though, so the Mafia isn't really in a hurry. Also, I think he is at L-2 right now.

Thomas, stop insulting the ones you play with. You may have an issue with their playing style, but what's even more bothersome is that you're incredibly hostile. I have no problem policy lynching you over it and you're already a suspicious creature, so I don't see any problem in doing that.
I do not insult those who I am playing with on this site. I only do that on mafiascum.

'Isa' said:

I did not insult Silver. I referred her to Dando or Harumbai for help understanding the sentences. I did not say anything like "You're stupid for not understanding that." Clearly my last post was falsely perceived. On Dando's profile, it reads "If you have any questions or want some advice or help with something, feel free to drop me a PM" and I have concluded that Harumbai is good at English because he uses big words.

Free speech? I was talking about shos in another game. There is no rule which says that is prohibited. Anyway, I think I have done a good job avoiding mafia discussion outside of the thread in this game.

Hey we're allowed to call people "asses" now?

Anyway, I will not let Silver lurk. I do not let people who play like this off easy. Silver has had a chance to not lurk and make legitimate posts but instead chooses to post in all those other threads like "Guess the Member" and "****Random Chat****." This is a serious offense.

Can I get some support from others on this one, people. I've been in every major debate of this game and I'm getting tired.

What's bothersome is that you are picking out points that you figure that "Hey, this can I reply to" while leaving out the rest of what I said.

There have only been 2 nights thus far. I guess the third was pre-game when you were talking to your scum partners?

I think the main post of yours in question Thomas is this one:
'Thomas' said:
Ask Dando or Harumbai or somebody with a high intelligence quotient if you do not understand any of my sentences. Ah, I see, you did not think about voting for me until others voted.
Just for the record, I don't agree/condone/disagree/defenestrate any of the ideas in the following paragraph.

From a rational standpoint, there's nothing insulting about this sentence. But since you're referring her to somebody with a "high intelligence quotient", it comes off as you not thinking she's highly intelligent. Most people would than assume you think she's on the opposite end of the spectrum, and completely forgo the concept that she is averagely intelligent. People don't like to be indirectly told they aren't highly intelligent, even if it's true. And most average-intelligence people will still get offended by being called average. So even if you did mean the post with no harmful intentions, Silver would probably take offense to it. Part of the problem is in the way you worded it. Since you worded it indirectly, it looks like you're going in a round-about way to either insult them without noticing, act superior to them, or just to annoy them. And since most people aren't completely rational, the post could be interpreted as insulting. I understand where you're going with the comparison to Dando's profile, but it's pretty much down to the word and particularly "high intelligence quotient".

When I first saw it, I did think it was an insult directed at Silver (even before I saw the karma rates). I thought, "great, Thomas is playing like this again". It's not prohibited, but it'll make you look like a jerk after a while, and it's a lot easier for a townie to convince themselves that a claimed townie who acts like a jerk is secretly mafia compared to a kind claimed townie. It didn't really effect my views on you though, since it was the first time you said something ridiculous in a while and I'm kinda used to your banter in these games by now.

Triple Ninja'd: I kinda lol'd at you not knowing me until six months ago. Shos would be proud.

Good job ignoring 90% of what I said Thomas. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together sees your post for how pointless it was.
@ Isa
I know what you were saying about thomas insulting people and being incredibly annoying. I'm pretty sure everyone else does too. Is there anyone who actually takes Thomas serious? If so, can you please post your reasoning for doing so and link examples where that has helped you.
@ Thomas
If you're so worried about lurkers, where are you on Shavey Dave and Soccerboy? Silver doesn't get a pass, but there are plenty of lurkers to go around, and apparently you believe Silver's roleclaim, so why would you be targeting someone you think is town?

NINJA'd: Case and point on why Thomas isn't really a contributing member. When you are so used to someone being rediculous that them only doing it once in awhile is acceptable, that should probably tell you something.
Also, Thomas, don't go around insulting twelve year-olds. It's pretty pathetic.

DAAAAAAAAA! It's not whether you want to post. Do you think past mafia members that were been pretty much figured out by the townand were fighting a 180 degree uphill battle wanted to come on and make arguments that they knew weren't worth it? I'm not saying you're mafia or your arguments aren't worth it, but YOU signed yourself up for this flipping game. Don't have any thoughts to contribute? Then post your thoughts on other players thoughts. Half of today has been people ripping eachother's posts apart haphazardly; can't you handle that? You're being a little ridiculous, I'd maybe even vote you right now if I had any idea how many votes were on you already. (please refer to picture in my signature).
