Been playing Luminous Arc, very fun but a few battles make me want to destroy my DS.
Why do so many of the strongest party members have to be horribly-weak-to-physical-damage spell casters?!

[Out of 15 characters, 7 are witches, who either cast spells then die, attack then cast spells then die, or heal then die.]

I'm playing Skyward Sword and its far better, in opinion, than any other zelda game I've played. Zelda games played:
Skyward Sword
Ocarina of Time
Twilight Princess
Link to the Past
Original

I disagree Jellsprout!

Cave Story is a 16 bit Metroidvania freeware game made entirely by one guy. Has excellent level design and pretty good writing. Cave Story+ has improved graphics, a better translation, Steam achievements and a few bonus modes, but isn't free. I got it with one of the Humble Bundles.

I've been replaying Vice City again. This time I'm trying to complete the game 100% without using any cheats or guides. It is going pretty well so far. I've already completed all the missions and I have about 60% of the packages, rampages and jumps.

I also realize why I like 3 and VC so much better than SA.In 3 and VC you start by doing assassinations and extorting judges. In SA you start the game doing pizza runs and getting hair cuts.  You really feel like a crime lord in those games, which really is what GTA is about.
And whatever you feel about that, there is one thing you must agree with. VC had by far the best radio. Almost every station there is great, while in SA I have trouble finding even one good radio station.

I've never owned a GTA game, but I absolutely love the country song All my exes live in Texas that's played on the radio in San Andreas, I think.

I raged really hard when I beat Bioshock because I realized the only audio tape I missed was the one in starting area that you can't go back to. Yeah, Bioshock is a great game, but I wasn't gonna play it again just to get a measly trophy (there were other trophies I didn't have, but they were ones I didn't plan on getting like Brass Balls or Research PhD, etc...)

You... you... MONSTER!!!! I saved them all. And they were happy and brought me presents.

EDIT:
Correction, I harvested one because I hit the wrong button. No cancel option, either

When I was in the orphanage, they were calling me a monster and stuff it was still worth it. I'll probably do another playthrough of me saving them all, so I can get the 100g achievement

Since I played SA before VC, I just in general have a hard time playing VC because of how outdated it is. You're always aiming your gun (which just seems unusual to me), if you go into water you die, and what really annoys me most is that you can't control where you look when driving. If they could give me only that, then I'd be much more willing to play it. The default vehicle camera is too low to the ground for my preferences, and just in general I like being able to move the camera's view when I'm driving. If I played VC before SA, I'd probably have no problem with it, but I unfortunately played SA first, so it's something that bothers me a lot.

I'm willing to give SA a pass on the early missions because just in general, you can't force newer players to jump into the action too fast(or else they might fail miserably and give up), they were also introducing customization features that sort of needed to be introduced, and they still made them usually involve some form of danger. But GTA IV definitely took way too long before anything interesting happened, and a lot of the missions were basically just "drive here" early on. You drive to a train station, pick up these 2 girls, drop them off somewhere, and buy new cloths. How exciting. At least when you were forced to get a haircut and eat at the pizza place, it ended with some guy shooting at you.

And overall, I didn't think that SA's music is that bad. Granted, there was usually at least one song on each station that I despised, but overall there were only a few stations that I absolutely couldn't listen to. Although that doesn't necessarily make it equal to or better than the songs in VC. I don't remember the radio stations there very well. But I do remember that VCPR is probably my favorite talk station that I've come across in the games I've played.

I didn't get too far into VC when I played it, mostly because I wasn't that good at it back then. I might have to try it again just to see if I can beat the storyline.

I saved them all, Jorster. Despite them being virtual demonic prepubescent monster freak girls, I couldn't bring myself to harvest/kill a virtual demonic prepubescent monster freak girl. I'm getting soft with age I guess.

I don't really care about them, either because I know it's a video game, or I don't know any little girls that aren't incredibly annoying, I'd rather get a bonus in the game than save them

I've started replaying all the games a while ago. I started with GTA2, which seemed to be seriously hard to complete. kill frenzies, GTA2 shields, and even very very specific missions, are seriously hard. I've finished the two first levels - all missions; but I never managed to get thorguh all the KFs, and finding all the shields is extremely hard. I managed to get all the tanks, life bonuses and multiplier bonuses, wang cars bonus, and even managed to get ultra-liked by all mafias together - which is done by stealing FBI cars and dumping them in cranes for respect, lol. the third level is supremely hard, and I've been postponing playing it for weeks now, lol. even the first missions are terribly hard, not to mention that the army can go after you and literally eliminate whatever hopes you've had for the game

after I'm done with that, I'm gonna reinstall GTA3 and finish that, and then VC, and only then SA and 4, hopefully when I'm done 5 will be out which is likely, cuz SA is enormous :=\
