Tell me. I will only learn languages that are in the Latin alphabet, so dont suggest Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, Greek, etc.

Latin. Failing that, Frisian. I don't think there is a more useless language you could possibly learn.

Seriously, I think most people in Europe and South America are able to speak English and that number of people is only rising. So if you want to learn a language, you need to do it for the literature.
Dutch literature sucks, I don't know of many good German books, there are several great French and Italian books to read, no idea about Spanish, Portugese or anything North or East European. So I'd go either with French or Italian, probably Italian.
But even more seriously, Latin. Some of the best poems and stories were written in Latin and you need to read them in their original language to properly appreciate them. You don't realize just how much of a genius Ovidius was until you read his story about Narcissus where as he watches his reflection in the lake, the sentences actually start mirroring themselves.

If you were to live in the more southern states or the west coast of the United States, I'd recommend Spanish.  Since you don't, however, I'm with Jell in that you should learn Latin.  I want to learn that, as well.

You should take French.  It's spoken in many places around the world, and similar(ish) to English, so it's easy(ish) to learn.

Spanish. Pretty much everyone in the younger generation of French and German people is learning English, so learning French and/or German will probably not be very useful. But Spanish, on the other hand, is still an extremely popular language that is showing hardly any signs of dying out.

Try Ielandic.  Iceland is a really cool place to go on vacation, and it is useful to speak the native language.

If I said I could learn any language with an alphabet similar to the Latin alphabet such as Greek and Russian, what would you suggest? Note that I still won't learn Arabic, Chinese, Japanese or Korean.

So I've started learning Spanish with Duolingo. anyone familiar with that app? it's pretty great; with my basic knowledge of spanish common-words, learning basics and grammar and stuff is pretty quick and easy. I progress quite a bit every day, imo, but the appoffers SO MUCH that I probably have like at least 3-4 months of daily work to get done with that. I also try to keep my skills up and practice already-done stuff from time to time. It's funny to do that while on the bus/train/toilet

Es importante que sepas que seas un coche porque los coches tienen que estar arreglado frecuentemente. Por ejemplo, cuando estés en la calle, es posible que vayas a averiarte. Entonces, no puedes hacer nada y estarás atrapado.
