It's kinda clichéd, though. Also, most modern 8-bit music doesn't have the same charm to it.  

I dunno, 8-bit music goes fine as long as it doesn't repeat constantly. Maybe we should have 2 or 3 different tracks so the player doesn't get tired of the same music playing over and over again.

The point of 8-bit music is to have the same 1-2 minute on loop for each area...

Because I believe they should be the project manager.

I'm pretty active , but Sniper seems to know what he's doing. If he doesn't want to, I'll do it in a pinch.

I might be active much. I am responsible. Maybe mature. But I don't have the skill to begin with. I tried making music but it doesn't work.

I'm at GDC right now between talks. I'll edit this post when i get a break and discuss things.

So how much progress has been made on this project? Did you set a deadline yet? Did you define who's on the team yet? Who's leading the project?

I'm really mature (not to sound arrogant) and in generally responsible (except when it cones to math homework lol, I just did like, 60 pages of math homework in one sitting, which my math teacher said no one would be able to do even her (we had a week to do it but it was over vacation and I mean, come on, you didn't really expect me to do it until u got back did you?) But i really don't want to be the project manager because I don't have much time, and the most importabt reason i wanted to make this post is because I wanted to warn whoever the project manager ends up being, that I cant be relied on too heavily, if at all, as I have very little free time, sorry :/

Well that would be a point for you not being voted in as leader. You were probably up there in the first place because you could code, and that you were also mature. You are a lot better at keeping track of math homework than me, so I don't question that.

Lol, i guess I'm popular. So the first order of business is communication. Well need to setup a Skype call between everyone who's involved to get the call rolling. I'll be adding about everyones interests in the project and what kind of skills and experience everyone has so that i can make informed decisions. It would be awesome if everyone with experience had a very short portfolio i could look at. For programmers, that's just the source code for a program you wrote. Obviously, its not required, but it would be helpful for me.
