i dont really hear the LoL insults anymore. today tho i heard russian pudge whom i destroyed in mid (ended game with 16 cs) complain about his european teammates, which was a new one

I think the actual ranked system is pretty stupid how it doesn't separate solo players and party players, and that it is almost impossible to actually move rank significantly if solo, because you'd have to win 40 times more than you lose (ridiculous) to gain 1k MMR.

I think I have a Luuuna addiction, so easy to farm with if you stack ancients. I feel like I should like Gyro since I like Luna so much but I find the lack of an animation on him so jarring that I can never last hit properly

So I guess Poland is old-fashioned, because we haven't moved to Dota yet and everyone still plays LoL, although the Minecraft era is over already.

ehh.. A lot of countries still play LoL but I'd say its days are numbered as there is literally no reason to play a game with a business model like that over Dota 2, regardless of opinions on more minor differences (denying, mana conservation). The reason to carry on playing LoL nowadays is because you're used to it and don't want to switch.

I see people playing LOL/DOTA 2 on campus all the time, I say both because I cannot tell them apart if I was paid to. I imagine saying that they're similar is a lovely way to start a flame war. I don't think the Minecraft era is over in America, it probably won't for a while since the general public caught on to it and now every thing from MC t-shirts to Legos are sold in stores.

In terms of the differences, they're extremely minor but they make a huge difference because of how much minor things affect everything in MOBA games

Yeah, as far as blood and even violence goes Dota and LoL are not bad at all.

I honestly have only played LoL, and only 2 games at that. I'm not a huge fan of the MOBA genre, so I don't really find them that interesting.

I've played Dota 2 for a few hours with bots. It's fun and I appreciate the depth of the game, but I simply don't have the time to dedicate to it. There are just too many other things that need to be done or other games that I want to play. If I had unlimited time, I'd definitely spend some time getting good at the game. Will probably be a long time before I ever get brave enough to play with real people.

Hello, today I was playing Sven, the Rogue Knight. I was laning alone against Alleria, the Windrunner and Krobelus, the Death Prophet. First of all I disagreed with being solo against those heroes in the first place but whatever. Anyway, I was having some serious issues with Krobelus, the Death Prophet using her Carrion Swarm ability which sends a swarm of bats to damage her enemies dealing 100/175/250/300 damage with a radius of 110-300 to harass me, as well as Alleria, the Windrunner using her Power Shot ability which causes her to charge a bow shot which deals increasing amounts of damage (120/200/280/360 maximum) depending on how long she charges it and the amount of units it passes through. With all the harass, I could never enter the lane and ran out of consumables very quickly (I am referring to Ancient Tangos of Essifation, and Healing Salves). What can I do about this?

Get a better lane. There is no chance that you can play in that lane while farming.

Both Krob and Windrunner have low HP/Armor stats. Get a ranged support for harassing them - preferably Lina or Leshrac for the stun combo.

Never solo lane melee hard carries vs a dual lane.
