I'm partly with Yuggy on this. The game will not go anywhere without combat, but the attacks should be at least somewhat provoked. Without that, it'll just be everyone getting progressively stronger until there's no room left to expand. It could be solved by more monster v. Person combat, but that's not as cool.

I think battles should just be not turn-based, but all simultaneous hits.

if I'm being attacked, grab all my undeads and possible wariors, blind, ambush, whatever the strongest spell is - use it; summon werewolf etc. 30k hp should be a piece of cake if I can stun again and again
