If my play is considered bad by you then your play is 5 times worse than mine so with that logic I should be voting you and you should be voting yourself.

I think thomas, that you are just being way too agressive. *endless stream of 1-liners continues*

Hi Jorster,

I don't understand your vote. The reason for it was "playing badly," however, there are other players in the game playing just as badly. There has got to be another reason for the vote and I'd like to know it.

Thanks and regards

Wait. So he's guilty because we have not proven him to be town on D1? The only way someone could prove he's town is by either killing him, having an investigative role, or being mafia...

Okay you made some observations aloud but I don't see how this has any significance when it comes to one being aligned with an anti-town faction.

"Overall aggressiveness (more so than last game)"
What about other people being aggressive? Why single me out? But when I was scum with Isa on mafiascum, from what I remember, I wasn't aggressive at all. I also had a below average post count for my standards. Or what about Bowick Mafia where I was so aggressive on D1 that the mafia NKed me (I was town)?

"Everyone is scum until proven town"
I think I said this once when I was screwing around but I disagree. At the start of the game, you have a null read on players, don't you? You don't put everyone down as anti-town aligned from the start.

"major inactivity"
Now this is really where you're pulling BS out of your rear end. "Major"??? I'm not even inactive and have not received a prod in the game or been on V/LA. I very well could be one of the top 3 posters in the game. I'll name inactive players: you, Darvince, jazz, snipereborn, jellsprout and Isa is kind of doing the one-liners now but it's not like much is going on at this time, anyway. I guess I better drop out of high school if you want me to sit behind the stupid computer screen 24/7.

Based on the above, I can conclude that your vote was made either because you are a newbie who is bandwagoning or you have an anti-town role which motivated you to make the vote.

Major was too severe of a word for that. Although you do seem to have convinced me to back off for a bit, and wait to see how this plays out.

Although, I'm in high school, and I'm plenty active. I'm also not one of the inactive players here, as you just said. This applies to me as well:

I keep thinking of more stuff after I read you big post, so last post until someone else posts. I hope.
The reason people think I'm not as active, is because I lurk, and add things in as I see fit. That's how I played last game, that's how I'm playing this game.

You seem to be pulling back as soon as someone says anything in retaliation. I feel like I've seen this somewhere else, but I'd need to check. I feel like you're scared to have a bigger member against you.

And these last four posts... so you're active and you lurk? I feel like the reason you haven't been prodded is because you bandwagon onto others' ideas. I feel like you also post "I'm going to post my thoughts when on a computer" too often.

So who are your suspects?

Also, if you're making multiple posts in a row to artificially increase your # of posts in the mafia game then I don't, by the way, count double posts.

"You also have been about half as active as you have in previous games."
No I haven't.

"The reason people think I'm not as active, is because I lurk, and add things in as I see fit. That's how I played last game, that's how I'm playing this game."
Not only that but your posts don't contain much content. So do you believe your posting style is pro-town? How will this benefit the town?

Oh yeah I've seen the play where a player will "undo" what they did at an earlier date if it was perceived as being scummy by someone else. It looks even more scummy when it happens but I'd say it's just newbie play no matter what their alignment is.

Again, its a giant pain to post a huge list on a touch screen keyboard. When I get on a computer (tomorrow after school?) I'll post a huge list, if that's what you want.

Also,
Flash vs Jellsprout - people don't automatically vote Flash.
Jorster vs Thomas - Soccer automatically votes Jorster. Seems legit.

I'd also like Darvince to make use of his online-ness and post stuff.

thomas should replace everyone, then he can play against 12 of himself.

Jorster: Most of the newbies (except me) have been replaced already because they didn't want to play, so why are you just staying back, Jorster? I'm the only one that might still be heavily influenced by a post that Isa or similar posts because of their prominence in previous Mafia games.
What is this major inactivity that you are talking about? I see no major inactivity on Thomas' part, in fact he's been one of the most active players so far in this game. With your four posts in a row, is that because you're that terrible at writing long posts on a mobile device or because you're trying to boost your count in this game? Your third post is just reiterating what you already said. When you add things as you see fit, they're almost always reiterated stuff that has been said by half the players already. You're already pulling a lot of crap, this is off the wall.
Vote: Jorster

Thombot: Are we still going on with me being at camp for the first one and a half days of mafia or is this just because I'm on a lot but I don't actively contribute usually? What do you mean by "undoing" an action? Like jorster just now unvoting because you pressed him?

Also, here are my (main) suspects:
Hellsprout: super aggressive to Flash, usually is the most placid player.
Flash: above his normal level of aggressive to Jell, maybe trying to distance?
Fos: Flash
Jorster: Reasons stated above

PEdit: wow most massif conversation while I was writing this post
I'm not posting as much as I could because I'm still trying to have fun with other stuff than the mafia game and for some reason writing long posts like this is difficult for me.

I was gonna sleep but I gotta wait about 10 minutes for something before I sleep, anyway so I'll write one more post tonight...

In this game, I can think of two times when a player has "undone" something perceived to be scummy by someone. The first was when Shavey Dave had a town read on me but when Isa said that was scummy or something, he changed his read on me to scum. The second was just a few posts up where Jorster unvoted me.

'Thomas' said:
"You also have been about half as active as you have in previous games."
Additionally, there's a line that, when crossed, you are considered too active in the game and this will have a negative effect on the town. Bowick mafia was an example of this on my part. But really, stop trying to build a case about my activity when it has been knocked to the ground. If you want to talk about inactive players then jellsprout or jazz would be a good place to start.

So apparently knowing when to back off is sketchy? That doesn't make any sense. I unvoted Thomas because he had a stronger argument than I had against him. Therefore I backed off.

If you're in a fight, and your only weapon is a graham cracker, and the other person has a gun, do you back off?

Hi everyone.

I've been trying to keep up with the game so far, but since I wasn't playing I didn't really pay attention to who said what or read everything carefully.

Jorster does seem to be acting pretty weird, basically since page 5.

'Jorster' said:

major inactivity

Also I have problems with all three of these points. Basically I agree with the fact that everyone is scum until proven town and I think Thomas has been pretty active and non-aggressive. Either these points are truly Jorster's view on things (which difers from mine drastically) or he is clutching at straws.

'snipereborn' said:
What makes you think you have the right to be so fluffy? Explain yourself.
More seriously, give your thoughts on Isa's claim and the jell v. flash issue, if you will. (I view these two events as the most important for today).
There are lots of fluffy pokemon, how do you know that I am the only one?

I'm inclined to believe Isa is town and the claim is true. I mean there are some things you can make up as mafia as reverse psychology, and some you just generally don't think of. Also had there been another real miller then they could have revealed which would put Isa in a tricky position as 2 is very unlikely. I don't see why a mafia player would risk that on page one of day 1.

As for the Jell vs. Flash thing...
I dislike the way Flash has been insulting people, but their argument doesn't say much about their roles/sides IMO.

At the moment I'm leaning strongly towards Joster as scum followed by Flash for the self defeatist thing. I almost commented on Buboy before realising that's me .

Previous page a lot of buddy buddy has been going on between Soccerboy, Jorster and Flash. Together they try to push for a Thomas lynch without much of a case. I also find it peculiar how Flash keeps mentioning how Jorster is one of his top suspects, yet never tries anything to get him lynched. Flash is trying his hardest to distance himself from Jorster without actually endangering himself.
