A lot of people have voted for Thomas - Almost every single person in the game at this point.

I am not changing my vote at this point when I feel that scum 3 is 50/50 on Darvince and Jorster, whilst I feel pretty certain that you and Thomas are mafia.

Also, aren't you the one who always goes on about Mafia not starting lynches, instead they jump on to incorrect lynches, as you are doing here. As a result, I'm leaning slightly less scummy on Jorster.

I don't think I am. Scum often tries to start wagons themselves and try to convince people to join in before anyone can step in to prevent it. It doesn't matter who starts the wagon, banding together to push through a lynch mid-day is scum behavior.

I've never seen this happening in the five or so Mafia Scum games I've read through, nor on any Interguild games.

So, wait, Thomas, Isa, and Jell are voting jorster? This feels odd considering how at least thomas and isa behaved towards shavey at the beginning of the day. Sure, jorster's play is terrible, but it doesn't look any different from before. What gives, guys? I'ver reread the past few pages several times now, and I'm just not seeing this super scumslip that keeps being referred to.

So, once again, what gives? More over, Jazz has been questioned by lots of people and is still crazy inactive and even less informative than jorster. Jorster's play seems consistent, but I don't know anything about jazz's play, and that makes me cranky. What I'm getting at is that we should get something from all the players before we push a lynch on jorster. In any case, unless there's a better reason that I'm not seeing, I don't think I'll be participating in a jorster lynch because he's probably just a VI.
Now, since all these heavy weight names seem to be in agreement on jorster, it makes my confidence in my reads wavier. So, seriously, am I missing something?

When I played in the last Interguild game (as scum), I wasn't on any of the wagons on town and had stated one of the persons lynched as town (the other was Jazz). I was on the lynch of Shavey Dave, which I had started myself, but that was a Serial Killer lynch. However, I had specifically instructed Yuggy and Yaya to act in certain ways with regards to the wagons I pushed. Distance yourself from the Thomas wagon then get convinced to join it, oppose the Thomas wagon, join me on Shavey but only after a while of pushing your own...things like that can easily be done in order to manipulate.
Scum does what scum feels like, really.

Also, it's day 1 and we have no flips. I'd argue that searching for the scum team is a bit too hasty right now, and focus should be on finding just someone who feels like scum and lynch that one, rather than trying to fit that person into a certain team.

I had reasoning for it. I have had a null read for most of the game. After I voted conzy though, you voted right after. You already wanted to vote though... why did you wait until after I voted? Did you not want to be to blame if he flipped town?

Your reasoning for Thomas being scummy didn't explain anything.

And this quote
"Jorster" said:
If you're in a fight, and your only weapon is a graham cracker, and the other person has a gun, do you back off?

I feel like it's more like... If you're in a fight, and you have a graham cracker in one hand and a gun in the other... which do you use? Do you use weak or strong arguments? You had the access to some stronger arguments.... you DID believe he was scum, right?

The main problem is how easily set up his vote was. He comes out with a bandwagon vote that states Thomas is being scummy. Alright...so we expect him to have a decent case if nothing else. Thomas comes out and says "Hey man, why did you vote me?", Jorster says "well you're aggressive, you search for scum and you're inactive despite being one of the players with the most posts in the game (to be fair, there's not too much content in there compared to...say my posts, but it's pretty standard Thomas)", which is pretty much the weakest accusation of being scum I've seen. It sounds like he joined a bandwagon, and when pressured, had to make something up and instead of doing research on what's ACTUALLY scummy in his behavior, he just pulled something out of his rear.
Immediately unvoting doesn't really help as the explanation provided by Thomas, while sufficient, should have been obvious to anyone thinking more than three seconds. In order to not look like a complete fool, Jorster could have stepped up his attacks by countering Thomas with some kind of argument why he's wrong when answering that, but nope.

Moreover, I've voted for jazz, but nobody helped out there. Don't blame me.

Ninjad again, but it doesn't really matter.

As I have already said, I'm not joining this wagon because of the way the scum (Thomas and Jell) seem to be deliberately jumping onto to try and get the lynch over quickly.

While I can sort of sympathize, Flash, what does the actions of Jorster look like independently of what Thomas/Jellsprout has done or not done?

I think the thing that bugs me about Jorster's vote is that there is a lot of evidence already presented against Thomas, and I doubt it would be difficult to find just a bit more.

I don't think we'll get a lynch today. The only active townies are me, Isa, Soccer and Sniper.

Ninjad. How am I tunnelling? You just spout rubbish with no evidence all day, no quotes, nothing. I will continue to push te wagon against you because I want to examine Jellsprout's day two behaviour.

Also how do you figure this. Mafia are just as capable of lynching people as town, and that is only based on your opinion of who you think are scum anyway.

Flash and Jellsprout both had some good arguments, your case against Thomas was poor and you realised that and pulled out which is why we wonder why you started it at all.

And Thomas I disagree that pulling out is a town move. Could it not be a newbie mafia too?

It is never too early to search for the scum team. One game (Game 3, I think) I correctly guessed the entire Mafia team D1 based on the way they interacted with each other. However, I agree that it is too early to make any definite conclusions. I am not saying that our scum team is Jorster/Soccer/Flash, I am saying that our scum team could be Jorster/Soccer/Flash and that they deserve further investigations and pressuring.

As for this particular team, Jorster makes a weak case against Thomas. Flash's case is a bit stronger, but with posts like this:
'FlashMarsh' said:
Do you ever defend yourself? Onward with the lynch.

he doesn't really gain much credibility. Together with Soccerboy they appear to be banding together against Thomas in page 17 without making much of a case.
You have to remember that not every scum attack has to be planned. What I suspect is that Flash first votes for Thomas and that Jorster later decides to follow his scum buddy.

Jellsprout, did you miss the fact that Soccerboy informed everyone that the Mafia consisted of Dittos, claiming he got the knowledge from the mod in a private message? I am VERY inclined to believe that this makes Soccerboy not-Mafia.

You believe him? At that time only the Mafia themselves knew what roles they have. What makes you so sure that he wasn't lying when he said Shos send him the private PM? He seemed pretty sure about the Mafia being Ditto even before he supposedly got his PM.

I believe him, yes. Lying about receiving a PM like that is a very, very ballsy move that I really doubt he'd make as scum.

I believe that he was so sure about the Mafia being Dittos because his own idea for a game revolved around that. Seems soccer-y.
