So, this is the topic that I will use for all sorts of announcements, a list of all commands every ranks can use, as well as all the plugins we currently use.  For now, it's a small topic, since we don't really have much.

April 10th, 2011
The "grand" opening of the server.  Was used for testing for the entire day.

April 11th, 2011
The second day of the Interguild server being up.  I am planning on using the majority of this day to get the spawning to work, and work on ranks.

April 12th, 2011
A giant flaming roof was erected above the spawn room, which now contains a list of contributors, dungeon hunters and a rule room. Paths now extend to Isa's Cave and Guyguy's Cabin.

Various stuff has happened... Lots of plugins have been added, and is now ready for people outside of the IG to be invited...

BedrockControl - Allows people to break bedrock. (Admins only.)

None, but to break bedrock, right-click with a stick.

HeroChat - Used for the colors and censors for the chat.

iWatch - Logs EVERY block broken by non-ops.

iZone - Square-shaped protection, to prevent someone from building or destroying in a defined area. (Admins only.)

Permissionse - Defines groups and who gets to use what commands.

SignOwner - Allows you to tell who placed a sign. (Admins only.)

SpawnX - Allows you to define (Admins only.) and teleport to where players spawn.
Commands:
/setspawn (Admins only.)

Admins Online - Every time you log in, you are shown a list of all the Admins online.
Commands:
/adminsonline - Shows the admins currently online on demand.

This seems useful for ranks.

Right now, I am reading up on this.  It seems pretty promising.

We should do Minecraft Server updates about what's been built.

I am planning on that; something sort of like a weekly or biweekly news update of what has gone on on the server.

Have you installed a new Plugin? The gift command works differently now.

Yeah, I am working on the Essentials plugin package.  It has pretty much everything we need.  I'll go into more detail once I fully configure it.

What did you notice change?

It appears right into your inventory, the result text that comes up is in a different colour, and it says what you got and how much of it in the text. Massive improvement.

Edit: Warping is working. I set a warp called 'Guyguy's Base' to my statue and underground base.
Edit 2: SpawnMob and Time commands are working.
Edit 3: Burn and Extinguish commands are working correctly.
Edit 4: Heal is working!
Edit 5: 'Antioch' is working!
Edit 6: As does 'Clearinventory'
Edit 7: As far as I can see, (I haven't tried the signs yet) everything works!

Please post your Minecraft username!  If you do not, then you will remain a Default, and cannot build.

Hey guys, I'm terribly sorry about not being on today.  My mom has been using the computer, and I was falling behind on math.  I will probably not be able to get on tomorrow, either.  If he wants to, Isa can temporarily Op you...

So, I got chat prefixes and colors working, and so on, but they look atrocious right now, and I have to go.  But hey, it working!
I might be on again later today.  When I come back, I'll spruce the chat up a bit, and I'll finish the new rules room. (I'm adding a bit of rules in terms of items, and other things.
Guyguy and Neb.  When you chat, let me know exactly what you see when your post comes up (In MC, of course. )  Colors and all.  Thanks.

It comes up in green, and it says '[Builder]' before it in white.

Also, there are two rule rooms. I think we should keep both. I think one should be there to spawn in, and one to read later (since that one contains a lot more rules) after you've explored the spawn.

Also, one slight change to the rules- Instead of no Lava, Water etc. it should be request permission before using them, because sometimes they will be used for useful things.

Unfortunately, I wish that we could do that on a large scale, but lava crashes the server.  Jebby and I had fun with lava, and the fire and lava kept kicked us out, then gave us an error whenever we tried to join again.. I would allow lava in small amounts, but nothing big..

And a couple other things: if you guys don't like the way I am running the server or anything, or you think I went too far, then please, speak up.  I don't want it to feel like a monarchy, though I feel like I'm doing that a but too much

I am going to work on protection now!  Let's hope we can prevent griefers even better, now.

I haven't commented on what you've been doing for the past two days because I haven't had the time to play. Busy with school work.

I have a new idea about what we should do about getting people on thuis server- Basically, we advertise this elsewhere, but you can only become a builder under certain conditions:

a. Got the approval of two mods, posted 50 times on the Interguild and have no griefing offences.
b. Built something unbelievably epic!

This would encourage three things:

-No griefing
-People to join and post on the Inerguild
-To build cool stuff on the server

Which are all good. And by epic, I mean, seriously amazing.

I thought I'd post some pictures for people without Minecraft to see.



This is our spawn room, built by Isa, Bmwsu, Jebby and me. It has an obsidian and wool floor (checkerboard patterned) and some cool noticeboards, two rooms (A spawn/cake room and rule room). The walls and ceiling is made out of iron and double steps.


This is the cave simulation in the museum that I built. The signs tell you information about the exhibits. The exhibits are: 'Cave simulation', 'Dungeon simulation', 'Wool!', 'In the Kitchen', 'Nether Simulation' and 'Biomes'. It also has an obligitary Gift shop and Cafe at the end.


This is a big church called San (Saint) Notch Church. It only took me about 45 minutes (i've started building faster nowadays). It even has pews, a font and a pulpit.


This is San Notch from a distance. I buil the church, carpenters, fishmongers and farm. Someone else (Not sure who) built the docks and lighthouse.

Wool?

You use a lot of wool when you want the right color.  Wool is all colors of the rainbow!

I just made a free-for-all economic hotel, 2 small houses, a wool shop and I'm making a cactus tower, but unfortunatly I can't signpost them since signposts don't seem to be working for me

Suggestion for Server

Teams

Following Pwegoserver, I think we should have two teams of builders- Hugsy and Flloyd, based off the two Aeon characters. Both teams have their own city areas, and are put in competitions against eachoter, for example, best buildings or PvP wars.

Expanding!

As I have suggested earlier, we should expand the server. To become a builder, you need to satisisfy the conditions in the previous post. However, in each major town, there are 'Free' chests full of essential building materials, and the advantage of becoming a builder is that you can spawn items anywhere, instead of just getting them from free chests.

So what do you think of this? Like it? Dislike it? Please reply to tell me!
