It doesn't. Unfortunately, I have removed the idea of shields from the game. You can however also use it as a crafting ingredient, as you can with every other item.

-Make defenses of epic proportions around my mansion.  This includes a lava pit and auto turrets.  Naturally, I use the best and strongest materials that I can make out of what I find in my mine

-Me being the peaceful person I am, I am making a nice area for guests in my mansion.  This includes a pool with fun stuff like slides, a bar, a kitchen with all sorts of food, and a games room with huge 4K TV and computers and consoles, and random other rooms for people's enjoyment.  I will power all this with my solar panels.
-Use the local flora around me to make a potion of permanent awesomeness.

C) eat the pigeon and send Groudon that I somehow found to destroy the fire gods and combine the two islands to make peace, harmony and a never ending heatwave. Also punch down the tree silvers in. And last get some chocolate eggs then throw them at the easter bunny because i hate easter eggs

Also, I will send the pigeon back with an offer of trade relations, as well as try and capture the Easter Bunny.  I need a good companion.  Maybe he'll make a good security guard, too.

Action 2 (5) - You just about manage to tame the pig. In the process, he bites you and damages you 200, but it's definitely worth it, since you now have pet pig, and we all know how awesome that is?

Action 4 (9) - You install super powerful solar panels, and completely cover the roof with them, giving you the same amount of power as a Nuclear power station.
Action 5 (9) - I guess your guests will be living the high life. There is every type of console you can imagine, a huge chocolate fountain, ten gaming computers with the new GTX 680 graphics cards. There is also a bar from which you can get every type of beverage, from coke to beer, cocktails to vodka. You build a huge swimming pool, with diving boards and slides, spanning 100 metres each way, with varying depths, and a little paddling pool for the children. Finally, you put tape around your hot tub to make sure no-one dives in and dies.
Action 6 (2) - Looks like you aren't very awesome. The potion blows up in your face, dealing 500 damage.
Action 7 (4) - ...The potion blows up in your face again, dealing 50 damage.
Action 8 (2) - ...WHEN WILL YOU LEARN?? It damages you for 500... again.

I make medi - potions to heal me and kill a ton of pigs for food. (I keep one back as a pet.) I place self - operating tanks, cannons and turrets and sentry guns around my castle walls and ask Yuggy if he would like to form an alliance.
