either tried to prolong the random stage of the game where there was no need to do so, or seriously thinks typos are a good scumhunting method - whichever the case, it was followed by inactivity and deserves my vote

it might help to have a slight write up on mafia etiquette. if anyone happens to have a good guide on hand, i think it would serve useful for everyone who is rusty.

the most basic that i can add would be this:
logic > all other methods. scum can't use logic effectively since they know who is town vs scum. scum can only fake it/lie.

don't bring someone within 1-2 votes of lynching without a reply from that person. this makes it easier for accidental/uninformed lynching, or for mafia to take out the guy with their votes (this part is mostly in endgame, where this could allow them to win).

hasty decisions are bad, but still, trust your instincts.

don't post information about yourself unless necessary.

As for in-game, i think that isa is most likely town. There haven't really been enough posts yet from everyone else, and i'm not sure whether that's just cuz ig is semi-dead or cuz it's actually scummy behavior. like shos said, more activity will really help.

How much logic can we apply to the game this early on, Soccer? Unless anyone else reveals a unique role, which I doubt will happen, we have nothing to go off of beyond mostly baseless speculation.

Atvelonis, I wouldn't call it baseless. Logic has its role, mostly in making the difference between random guesses and educated guesses. But at this point, it's not about definitively saying who is what. That's not gonna happen. It's more about just figuring out what behavior seems odd, and using that to see where alignments may fall.

For example, it's logical that Jory's trying to get RG to answer his question after he posted but without reference to his question. RG's answer will help guide whether we think it's because he's avoiding discussion or if he just skipped straight ahead to page 3.

Rocket guy2 has been consistently attempting to draw attention away from himself by making generic comments. I know basically nothing about Mafia (lol) but I feel like he might be trying to pretend to be a vanilla townie (i.e. the most harmless role) so maybe that's what he's doing. either way my suspicions have been raised. i'm still wary of darvince but he's kinda known for generally erratic behaviour, plus i don't think mafia would directly ask people to lynch them but as i said I don't know enough about mafia to be aware of any roles that benefit from being lynched.

RG: There is never really a stage in Mafia where you know things for certain, because of the existence of fake claims. The only time you do know something for certain is after someone has died and the mod tells what their role is.

HB: The only role I'm aware of that wants to be lynched is a Jester.

Dabvince: Probably innocent, their opening thing was a bit weird, but so was mine, have to start the game off somehow.

Juicester: They've been voicing his suspicions, either wants to be seen as a team player, or is using the chat as a method of taking notes. Trusts isa In answer to his questions, nothing, I just feel that actions in the beginning few posts aren't things we should pay too much attention too.

Yammy Dodgers: Only two posts so far, second one seems to be in favour of Isa, has done little else of note however

aych wasp: Very suspicious of me, but has understandable reasons, wouldn't be surprised if I get investigated N1, two posts, but has posted recently. I can understand where they're coming from

isn't🅱: Oh boy, that was an early reveal, but I can understand why they've done that, Miller is a very awkward role, and revealing it now is a lot less suspicious than revealing after having been investigated, either way, it's put a lot of focus onto them, and if it was an effort to explain away why they're seen as maf, it has failed. But maybe they wanted it to fail so we'd think that?

yoursponge: One post, seemingly clinging onto the early shenanigans, almost completly failing to mention Isa's reveal. Has been inactive since. If he's not clinging onto the early shenanigans, and is being serious, then he's just being weird

Time Last Seen says Mymop was last on exactly at the same time he posted his only post in this thread, and it does include hiding online. However he could of course be browsing logged out.

Rocket guy, when asked to give his opinion gave... an overview of the game so far with all of two opinions, the rest being mindless fluff. It also seems he doesn't want anyone to forget that he thinks Isa claiming miller is weird which only even makes a little bit of sense of you're scum as I see it (as isa is, AFAIK, really good at this game). I could get saying it earlier when it was the only non-rvs post, but I think it's meaningless

Opinions on other people (and vote) will come later today when I have access to a computer (phone posting actually sucks)
