Dammit.... anyways, I get out on Friday for Winter break and'll go back to school on the 3rd or something.
In the mean time, we do need to get theories out: Very minor Fos: Guyguyxtreme. The way he rubber-stamped Isa's observation and elaborated further makes him seem slightly suspicious. Either he's trying to be agreeable to stay hidden, or wants those 2 out of the picture.
COMING SOON: A giant meteor. Please.

Divine intervention? I don't think you should come down with posts at all like that, even (in fact, especially) if it is to correct our theories, lol. But oh well.

Isa, I had previously stated that roles would be randomly randomly assigned. I didn't post anything that shouldn't already have been known. | | jellsprout |

Why would Isa be so quick to cast a FoS, when his reasoning is in contradiction with the gamemaster's rules? The easiest way to convince people you are innocent, is by accusing others, correct?

As for holiday breaks, I have one more day of college before my break starts.

I did it because I suspected that CSD reasoned like I did earlier, but I also forgot that he randomized the roles. I also posted it to spark some activity that basically wasn't Random Chat 2.0, because if nobody would start a discussion relevant to the game, we'd have to guess by the end of the day on who's mafia and who's not, without having any clues at all. This way, we get discussions and accusations which can ultimately end up being helpful.
I've also played this game IRL, and it's not uncommon that the one who starts with the accusations gets suspected because of it. Accusing others is the least safe you can do, and I kept that in mind when posting. I feel secure that you won't vote for me, because your argument isn't really solid. If it worked, why would anyone cast any accusations, or even say something related to the game at all?
The really dangerous persons though are the silent ones, because they don't have a pattern that you can analyse. Killing one of those is pretty good in general, because if they die, you're not losing out on any activity. | | Yaya |

I don't agree with Isa on anything accusation related at the moment, but he's right. This game won't be fun if it's just 4-5 people accusing everybody/chatting the whole time, there's nothing wrong with a few silient people, but we just can't wait for the answers to come to us.

Not going on vacation... I would've said in the chatbox otherwise.
Also Januari? What month is that? The 21st? Oh wait, you mean January.

That's usually how I think, too, Jell. Happens a lot on Body Body, too.
The problem is that if you play IRL, you can tell if somebody is lying by the way they act, or something. On the computer, it's much easier to lie, because you can watch what you say much easier, since you have all the time you want, and you can't see body language.

You claim that the easiest way to convince people you are innocent is by accusing others, and then you point the finger at Isa? That's interesting.
But I'm waiting until I've seen everybody post before I come to any conclusions. A page and a half of the same people posting isn't much to go on. At least not until I've gained some perspective. | | Bmwsu |

I would like to point out a hole in my own post. When I referred to "your argument", I meant the opposite of what you actually said - that accusing someone is NOT the easiest way to convince everyone you're innocent. This is because your natural instinct is to get suspicious of the person MAKING the accusation, not the one being accused, unless the theory supplied is really convincing.
Finally, I'd like to point out that I withdrew my FoS when proven to be wrong. | | Bmwsu |

I spent a week during the summer with people playing Mafia from 02:00 to 10:00 AM. We analysed the metagame for Mafia and developed it by adding Werewolves, Bishops, and later nerfing the Werevolves into having a Werewolf King. I was nothing but a silent observer back then, however I am a good listener and have a good long-term memory. I'm basically reciting what I was taught. | | Thomas |

Quote: Periodically throughout the day I will post vote counts. If you would like me to post an updated vote count, say so, and I will if I can. I forgot to mention this before, but along with voting you can also "FoS" (Finger of Suspicion, I think -- I've never actually checked that that's what it means) and "unFoS" people, to let them know that, at the least, you're finding them suspicious. Please bold these as well (FoS: Livio, for example), as I will post them along with vote counts. Unlike votes, you can FoS as many people as you like, but they don't actually have any affect on the game, other than officially making your suspicions known.
It does not say need to need provide a reason for your FoS and that was not random.... | | |
