Brock go down!

Defeated Brock rather easily. Simply trained up Bulbasaur to level 13 and then slaughtered him with Vine Whip. Went a bit ahead already and caught Prudence [Prune] the Jigglypuff. Unfortunately Jigglypuff doesn't actually know any moves besides Sing until level 9. Time to grind up.

I will continue my trek through Mt. Moon tomorrow, but first I need to get over this loss. Ave, my child, you served me well.

Made it through Mt. Moon without any further loses, picked the Helix Fossil. Caught a Rattata on Route 4 and because Julius got killed by a Raticate, I decided to name him Karma Chameleon. He died against another wild Rattata before he could even gain a level. I guess he deserved it. Now I have to decide if I first want to beat Misty or Isa.

Update 2:

Misty and poopy-face Isa no more! Ha ha ha!

Beat both Misty and Isa without any real troubles. Rob Garrett took down Isa's Pidgeotto without effort, Spatulas OHKO'd his Abra and Ratatta, Geodude OHKO'd his Charmander.
Farmer Dandonovitch 2HKO'd Misty's Staryu, Spatulas was able to take down Starmie, but out of caution I switched out to Dandonovitch who finished the job.
In the process Bongo Drums learned Self Destruct. Hopefully I won't misclick.
In Route 20-something, the first Pokemon I encountered was Abra. He escaped from the first Pokeball and fled the battle. So I am still at 5 Pokemon. Next stop, SS Anne!

Now this is getting ridiculous. Caught a Mankey, named him Won Ki. Forgot to pay attention when training him and he got killed by a Quick Attack from Pidgey. Then I caught a Diglett, named him Samuel and he got OHKO'd by a lower level Spearow who hit five times with Fury Attack, one of which being a critical hit. I also caught a Oddish named Pinataapple, who is doing great and an Ekans named Hawinebai, who I haven't payed any attention to, so at least I have a full team and a reserve now. But still.

Anyway: I just beat Misty (I always save her for last in Cerulean/Bill City since I never pick Ivysaur). It took me three Potions on SNIPER and LIVIO the Kadabra (who's one level too high at the moment), SNIPER and SILVER the Pidgeotto to beat Starmie.

I'm about to hit up Vermilion City.

Prior to all of this, I caught a Rattata, named him ONAROLE, got him up to 13 then he died because I wasn't careful (left him out with 11 HP - a CH QAttack from a level 8 Rattata killed him). I first met an Abra at Route 2X and didn't catch him with my Pokéball, but on Route 2X+1 I managed to capture an Abra without anything to help (named LIVIO, as said, due to frequent disappearance). Felt good man. Then I power-leveled him to evolve him into Kadabra and he sweeps everything.

I have beaten Isa on the SS Anne, Lt Surge, Giovanni in Celadon, Erika and Isa in the Pokemon Tower. I have captured I LOVE CSD the Abra, Hawinebai the Ekans, Trudie the Spearow, Blacknn the Zubat, Doggihana the Growlithe and Grandma Loretta the Ghastly. I have been training up I LOVE CSD, who has become a prominent member of my party, and Grandma Loretta, who I will use to capture Snorlax and will then keep as a replacement for I LOVE CSD if he dies. I haven't obtained anything from Celadon yet, because I haven't decided between Vaporeon, Jolteon, Dratini and Nidorina yet. I think I will leave it alone for now and if I will need one of them, I will obtain him.

Also, Spatulas is surprisingly good in this game. Bug is one of the best offensive types in-game. Super Effective against Psychic, Grass and Poison. Not quite the MVP of my team, but certainly one of the top 3.

I had nothing to do today and with Dodrio Tower it goes really fast. I already went to Fuchsia, got HM 3 and 4 and caught Rosa77 the Exeggcute in the Safari Zone. I'm going to stop for today, so you can catch up.

Today won't cut it, I'm going to need an entire week with university and other stuff.

I found some time to play today. I trained up a bit, cleared out Silph Co, beat Isa, beat Giovanni and continued on to beat Koga. I also caught a whole bunch of Pokemon, mostly with the Super Rod, but I doubt I will use any of them. I'm planning on catching a Staryu after Sabrina and replacing Spatulas with him. I will also keep Prudence, Pinataapple, Grandma Lorretta and my new Cutie Butie Hefeve the Lapras as replacements in case one of my current members dies.

Isa was relatively easy. Rob Garrett showed who the better Pidgeot is, Isabelle laughed at Alakazam, Spatulas absolutely slaughtered Exeggcute, Gyarados was no match for Farmer Dandonovitch and Bongo Drums finished off Charizard.
Giovanni was even easier. Bongo Drums took down Nidorino, Kangaskhan and Nidoqueen, who simply were unable to do anything back, and Farmer Dandonovitch took down Ryhorn.
Koga was even better. I LOVE CSD OHKO'd both Koffing's and Muk and I send out Bongo Drums against Weezing. He realized just how hopeless the situation and suicided with Self Destruct. This did about 20% damage. Bongo Drums constantly shows why he is my MVP.

Sabrina is going to be more difficult. Spatulas can hit her for SE damage, but she hits him SE back. If they outspeed Spatulas, I'm afraid it will be a OHKO. So I think I will use Isabelle. Amnesia up against Sabrina's first Pokemon, Rest of the damage and use the Pokeflute to awake again. After that it should be easy.

I caught Hockeyboy the Horsea and Marigold the Staryu. I trained Marigold up, evolved her and used her and Isabelle to defeat Sabrina. No difficulties. Blaine is next.

I've given up on this due to a lack of interest, time and frustration when my low-level Pokémon die. I can't play a single game for even a week before getting bored. Sorry.

Shame to here so Isa. I'm now at the E4, so I shouldn't take too long anymore.

I've beaten Blaine, Giovanni and Isa. I've also already made it through Victory Road.

Blaine and Giovanni were easy. Isa almost took down two Pokemon. First I used Isabelle against his Alakazam. Critical hit Psybeam confused and made Snorlax hit himself in Confusion. I didn't dare risk it anymore, so I switch out to my own I LOVE CSD. At this point Isa decided that repeatedly using Reflect would be the best course of action, so I slowly took him down with Psychic.
Then Charizard. Rock Throw missed two times in a row, bringing Bongo Drums dangerously low in health. I switched out to Marigold, who took some damage but OHKO'd Charizard the next turn.

I'm at 46 Pokemon in my Pokedex, so I'm going to evolve a few in my box to reach 50 and get the Exp All. After that I'm going to grind up in Victory Road.

Interesting box you got there

Isa the Viking is a Gyarados by now. Rosa an Exeggcute and Mailinator a Poliwrath. But I doubt I will be using any of them. I hope my current team can defeat the E4.
However, the grinding is very boring. My team is current at about level 55. I want them to be at least level 60 before I start. I am especially afraid of Lorelei. I think I can OHKO everything of Bruno, Agatha and Lance, but Lorelei I'm not so sure of.
Of Isa's team I am only afraid of Alakazam. I guess Marigold is the best option there, but I don't want to rely on her too much. She is already going to solo through Lorelei and Lance and will take on Isa's Gyarados and Charizard.

What's wrong with just AmneResting against Cloyster followed by a sweep?

That is exactly what I did, except against Slowbro. The E4 turned out incredibly easy at level 60. I didn't need a single healing item.


Lorelei:
Marigold took down Dewgong and Cloyster, Isabelle Amnesia'd up against Slowbro. He was buffing himself at the same time, so he didn't even get to attack me. The first two Body Slam's did about 20% damage, the third was a critical hit and took Slowbro out. After that Lorelei was finished.

Bruno:
Farmer Dandonovitch took down both the Onix, Rob Garrett the three Fighters. Hitmonchan survived the first Fly thanks to an X Defense, but hit Thunderpunch did only 15% damage. Dandonovitch rules. Machamp also survived the first Fly, but decided to Focus Energy.

Agatha:
I LOVE CSD took down both Gengar and the Haunter. Bongo Drums took down the other two Pokemon. The damage was negligible.

Lance:
Marigold sweep. Thunderbolt OHKO'd Gyarados, Surf OHKO'd Aerodactyl, Ice Beam OHKO'd the Dragons.

Isa:
Quite possibly my easiest fight against him yet. Pidgeot charged up Sky Attack, while Bongo Drums took him down with Rock Slide. Rob Garrett 2HKO'd Exeggcutor. His Barrage did about 30% damage. Enough to notice, but not enough to matter. Farmer Dandonovitch took out Rhydon and Marigold OHKO'd the remaining three Pokemon. Starmie is quite overpowered.

Now on to beat Mewtwo and then this challenge has been completed.
My strategy: I LOVE CSD will Thunder Wave Mewtwo and try to Flash him as much as possible. Then it should be easy.

Edit: Actually, I'm first going to try to freeze him with Marigold. If that fails, then I will try to Paralyze him.

And sure thing, on the very first Ice Beam Mewtwo gets frozen. I actually feel guilty it went this easy. I was hoping for an epic final showdown.
