Jellsprout was furious.
Isa was furious.
Quirvy was furious.
Even Jebby had risen from his metaphorical grave to point his equally metaphorical finger at the not-so-metaphorical wrongdoers.

Alas - their feelings meant nothing.

This is the story of The Interguild and its downfall.

---

Preparing for another family trip, Livio and Haily, the famous twin pair, prepared their respective communities for the inevitable collapse their three-week travel to the state of polar bears would bring if nothing was done. Knowing all too well that their combined efforts had made the Interguild possible, Livio had now turned his back against his brother, spewing out accusations of intentionally poorly-written code that had pestered his community for almost 1265 straight days, while desperately trying to replace it with his own. Haily on the other hand just smiled at these accusations - not because they weren't correct, but in fact, because they were.
"Come on Haily, look at this PM system you made for us! By reporting this PM and manually changing the URL that I'm given, I can look at the PM of everyone!"
"Now now, calm down Livio. You know that this is a very limited problem, right? Only your staff members - and me of course, since I have access to the database - could make use of this, and surely you trust your staff members not to do anything out of line, don't you?"
"I'm not worried about them, I am worried about you! Sure, they may have crossed a line once or twice, like when they changed the whole website into an ad for Sarah Palin as president of the United States - but that's nothing compared to the irreparable damages you could do! You know this website far too well for my comfort, and it doesn't help that you managed to convince our father to allow shared control of this database."
"It was very much necessary! Without my assistance, you'd still be fumbling with the most basic BBCode problems. I bet that you still wouldn't be able to put quotes within quotes or spoilers within spoilers without me, and God bless you if you thought that the design of the award system was your idea. Brother, you need me just as much as I need you, albeit...for different purposes, perhaps."
Haily grinned and turned around to his laptop, while Livio followed suit with the main difference being his facial color: it was steadily approaching an interesting mixture of red, grey and blue as he was filled with various emotions, none of which he'd like to face at this time.

---

"Agent Reid, do we have contact?"
"Yes Sir! I have managed to establish myself as a legitimate member."
"Good! The Interguild must be weakened up by you before we pull the trigger. Have you managed to establish contact with the officials?"
"Affirmative! By sending various high-tech reports to the various moderators, which they've been unable to understand and therefore passed along to Livio, irregular yet stable contact has indeed been established."
"Splendid. How about the actual security holes that I've left?"
"Left unchecked! By bringing focus to vastly unimportant problems such as typos in the PM's page, improper spelling and faulty 'Karma'-rates, everyone has been distracted to notice the hidden codes I've planted around the site, waiting for activation."
"Masterful. I thank you, Agent Reid. For now, take a back seat and...enjoy the ride."

---

And so, the day came, when Alaska finally called. IceCaves was left behind by Haily, leaving only several confusing graphs speaking about the low number of posts compared to last July. The message was mostly ignored though, as there was nobody around to read it. The Interguild, however, was given a news post explaining the tragedy that was about to happen: For the first time since its foundation, the Glorious Leader Livio had to leave his firstborn son, The Interguild, without the careful and anxious looks from its father. The announcement came, and there was much crying. The moderators decided to hold a competition titled In Memoriam. Video tributes were made, and in a drastic move, new games were even added to the database.

Livio and Haily took their backpacks containing their laptops and carried them through their train that would take them to their first stop, Las Vegas. After walking for a few moments, Haily said "Stop." and the two brothers sat down in front of each other. Livio was shaking and sweating slightly more than usual. Haily, being the complete contrast to Livio, smiled even wider than usual.
"Well then, here we are...man, I can't shake the feeling that something will happen. At least you won't be the one to cause it."
"Haha...oh, funny thing that you'd say that..."
"What? Answer me, now, what have you done!?"
"Oh, I haven't done anything...yet."
Haily's smile widened even more.
"Let me just make a call."

"Agent Reid? It is time.
Unleash the beast, start the movement.
Let the chaos theory have it's way around the Interguild."

Livio trembled with fear.

---

And here we are. The Interguild is in complete and utter chaos. The database is almost completely wiped out. Features and historical happenings have been mixed up with members and levels. Onlookers stand by the sidelines, baffled and confused, almost paralyzed. Only those inside the chaos knows who might have started it all - rumors talk about Haily and his evil minions. However, they're disguised cleverly. A username, a smiley, a competition placement - anything could be the work of Haily.

Twelve individuals have been spotted on the Interguild at the time of The Great Interguild Depression, as the new times have been dubbed. These individuals have been separated from the others in order to find out who caused the mayhem. Behind one of these, maybe two, maybe three, maybe four of these identities, the ugly smiling face of Haily shows. Only they can prevent further damage, only they can restore hope to the Interguild.

It is time.

He's listed as number 4. 4 is the IEEE standard random number, so the following function:
Code:
string whoIsScum(String[] players)
{
     return players[random(0, players.length-1)];
}

tells us that Quirvy is clearly scum.

Everyone runs faster with a knife.

Isa, are you able to make this board unpostable for nonplayers?
I'm afraid that if neezles makes a return, she's gonna spam this board.

Soccerboy, do you really want shos dead based on your coin flipping? Also this random voting is called random voting but I have seen from mafia scum that using these random generators and stuff for your vote is frowned upon. It's more anti-town than pro-town. Anyway I have not played mafia since the last game on IG so I feel like I have lost my scum hunting powers but hopefully they will come back.

Whether you use an online random generator to guess for you or you just guess yourself, a guess is a guess.

That is a faulty decision. Firstly, there are 13 options for outcomes, and only 12 members. Secondly, having 6 tails is the highest chance - 22.55%. having 5 tails or 7 tails has 19.33%, having 4 or 8 is 12.08%, having 3 or 9 is 5.37%, having 2 or 10 is 1.61%, having 1 or 11 has 0.2%, and 12 is 0.02%. SOOO you're tryng to protect your mateys at the top and buttom of the list?!?!

I remember back in the old days, when I last played mafia... We'd just converse and then start accusing people of being mafia based on the things they said, and everybody used FoSs! Those were the days...

Fine, I'll give in to modern day mafia techniques.

Even though the best choice for lynching is clearly Thomas, Vote: Shavey Dave because he's next to my name in Isa's last post, so I'm just destined to vote for him.
