Also, are you trying to hide the fact that there is an inside right now? Because if we enter this into the comp, we'll have to reveal the secrets inside.

And a good way to defend this would be that inspiration for making this was taken from the idea of team HQs in GF4's comic. This is not only a monument, but a "secret" Headquarters. The next more simple building I have planned is a more visible "HQ" (it's kind of supposed to be a decoy HQ) although I called it "City of Lakes Councilhouse" when I saved the file.

It'll be pale in comparison to the 5 large towers that I'll attempt to design for each lake, though.

Also how long are you going to be on vacation?

I leave on Sunday and return on Thursday.

If you want to tell people about the secrets inside, then post on the topic. But I was being careful in case we wanted to keep it secret. Otherwise, we could wait to spill the beans in that video...

I'm thinking I wanna make a post about the making of it, with my instructions image in it, which mentions the underwater entrance and rooms inside of it. I'll go for it anyways, while the posting of the level is recent.

that would require making a new image. It's not that big a deal, since we have to reveal it eventually in your video.

Hey, Livio, what do you think of the template I'm using for the cave on Quarsel?

It's not nearly finished yet, but so far I like how the cave is going.

lol that's awesome. I immediately killed myself just so that I could see how it looked like with the map actually showing up. It looks good.

It's pretty cool! Took me a while to figure out what it was though.

It took me a while to get that template. First I had to resize the image to a hatpc dimensionable size(85x64), then I had to decide which pixels would be black, and which would be white(it wasn't one pixel at a time, but it wasn't exactly a few minutes to do either) and then I had to use the black and white version of the image to make the cave's terrain pattern in cavemaker. Now I'm onto making the actual cave.

Well I'm not going to submit an empty cave into a competition.

Or am I...?

hey someone should make a hatpc cave using an outline of the great lakes that way it can be entered both into the Patriotism comp and the template comp.

Let's make it a collab so we can submit it into collab too!

Maybe we can each work on one section of the cave: the lake in our avatar.

Aren't we already planning a different collab? I remember the rules saying each team could only have one collab.

This is your map of the City of Lakes Boundaries:

But this is a more accurate representation of where the NERail and monument are placed:

And this is the previous image with your borderline superimposed on it. However you may want to change it.

Yes, but the dimensions of it right now from a birds eye view would be nice, although I could just scratch all of it and make my own thing, but it still be nice so that I could figure out about how large I want to make it.

As for the displacement of the monument, the borders are still fine as they are, but regarding the new much-less-impressive building I suggested, I guess that you should move it, making the distance between it and the monument about the same as the train station, but instead of it being to to the south and slightly to the west it should be south and slightly to the east. Don't worry about the borders, though, they're not really official, just a general idea of where the buildings will be placed.
